A fantastic bike shop - make it your local if you live in the area, and worth a visit if you live further away. Halim, who owns the shop, has a wealth of experience and has solved any problem I've had with my bike. He serviced my bike a couple of weeks ago, did a great job, and didn't charge me further after i went back a week later to change the crankset, even though it took another two hours work. Recommended.

Great little shop. Awesome repairs. Awesome bikes.

Plan your visit, give them a call first. They really do get very busy on weekends with repairs. Drop your bike off and then forget about it and enjoy your day. They can be a bit rubbish about getting back to you. Can relate to it because I was born before the internet age. Just chill out and enjoy the ride. The job will get done.

When you do get your bike back its worth it. Every time I show my face there it is usually after a prang and they do a great job of straightening things out and getting my bike rolling again.

If you tried any of the of the big chain cycle repairs you will appreciate them even more. They know how to hold a spanner properly and wont give you a line of bullshit about what is wrong with the bike.

Long live the small independent LBS like Future Cycles! :-)

Came across this great little bike shop before taking part in a triathlon in Alpe d'huez....Cycle surgery couldn't advise me about gear ratios and so I popped in here instead. The owner really knows about bikes and assured me that what I had on already would be more than adequate...worth bearing in mind I told him I was pretty well willing to spend whatever was needed...He also advised me on tyre pressures for cycling in the heat and gave the bike a quick service. Since then I have bought a claud Butler cyclo cross from him and over time he has fitted various upgrades that have made the bike my ideal commuter/ tourer...Today's upgrade was a set of Avid bb7 disc brakes and rotors...He also helped me fit a yepp mini baby seat (purchased elsewhere as "big cycles" have bought up all the supply deals) to the bike. I have purchased great lights and a cool cinelli hat from here as well as a vaude ladies cycle specific backpack for my wife...great quality and value...All in all the ideal local bike shop...thanks as ever.. i am the owner of future cycles. there are 2 sides to every story. on that day, you came into my shop sweating all over the place and stressed because you had obviously been tyrying to fix your puncture without sucsess. you then asked me the size of the tyre so you could buy another tube. the tyre was so old, the size was worn off. you didnt understand that this means it coul have been 1 of 3 sizes, so i suggested you fix it the old school way with a patch on the old tube. you didnt get whhat i was trying to say to help you, and you stormed out without the puncture outfit ! after half an hour, when you realised i was right, you sent your girlfriend back around, who was initially nice, but when i realised it was the same wheel with the same problem, ie, rusty scrap with a split tyre with unreadable size due to wear, she got angry too, and said you will realise who we are later ! so what would you have like me to do ? sell you a tube that was the wrong size ? please enlighten us ?

Bought a new Kouta racing bike from Future Cycles and I am super happy with it. Great bike, great service, it is running like a dream!
The owner knows a lot about racing bikes and has very good recommendations to suit your riding preferences. He won't sell you something you don't need!
