Massive round of applause for my PT client Emma who knocked a whole 1 minute and 28 seconds off her Cooper 1.5mile fitness test in 6 weeks!! It took her from Fair to the higher end of Good ππΌββοΈπππΌππΌπ πΌ brilliant achievement! You will be ready to take on The Elements in no time πͺπΌ
My aim this year was to build up my strength to manage the monkey bars which I have done. Next yearβs challenge was to be the rings but in one training session this morning I was taught the correct technique and I nearly smashed it πͺπΌ just a little refinement needed and I am going to work on my strength even more. #practicemakesperfect #pt #ocr #strength #thisgirlcan

Great session with the tyres this morning. We burpeed on them, jumped through them, ran with them, dragged them, squatted with them and slammed them amongst others! A whole body workout with a free piece of equipment πͺπΌ Well done ladies π great work!

Free Friday Workout! Set yourself a challenge πͺπΌ I managed to get on crunches on Round 4. (I did swap burpees for mountain climbers on last round to see if I could complete a whole round) Make sure you rest if you need to, donβt hold your breath and drink water. Good Luck ππΌ If you need to adapt or swap any exercise make sure you repeat the same next time to see if you can improve.

Squats are a great compound exercise working all the muscles in the legs and targeting your glutes. Try this fantastic app The Perfect Squat Challenge to check your form as this makes all the difference to your workout. It is important exercises are done correctly to minimise the risk of injury. You can also challenge yourself and your friends. Available on the App Store.

Sumo squat x20... Lunges x20 Farmers carry 20m and back Bicep curls x 12 Tricep extension x 12 Single arm row x 12 Single leg deadlift x 20 each leg Push ups x 10 Repeat x 3
Abs 1 minute plank V-sit 30 secs Alternate toe touch x 20 (10 each side) Russian twist x 20 Repeat x 3 Now time for breakfast and beach!! π

My favourite post work out treat! Joe Wicks Protein pancakes. Much needed after running in that heat. 1 banana 1 egg 25g oats 1 scoop (30g) protein powder... Heat up coconut oil and cook for a minute or so each side. Serve with mixed berries and Greek yoghurt.

Delicious post workout dinner. Crustless asparagus and pea quiche and salad. Quick and easy to make and makes enough for 2 meals. Itβs also tasty cold the next day.
