FREE is a renewable energy company founded by the owners of FRE Plc, created to deliver IFISA eligible Bonds issued by companies within the group, to take advantage of opportunities in the growing UK clean energy sector. FREE are offering investors the opportunity to subscribe in our first bond – FREE Wind ISA Bond which will provide funding to purchase onshore wind turbine sites. All sites bought are likely to be already accredited to the Feed-in Tariff (FITs) or Renewable Obligations Certificates (ROCs) subsidy schemes but in the view of the company will be under performing. Each site will undergo a strict due diligence process to ensure the wind turbine sites bought via the Bond will be long-term fixed assets which should have stable and recurring revenue streams. By way of background, the Company will utilise the existing team of experts within FRE plc. The Company's London office serves as the investment management office, the headquarters in Edinburgh specialise in project management. The management team has a proven track record in the renewables industry. Our current focus is on Onshore Wind, however, we are also investigating opportunities in other renewables including Solar and Combined Heat & Power (CHP) opportunities.
