We had a lovely evening here. VIP tickets, the food and champagne were fabulous although perhaps a little longer for the gorgeous cheeses and fruit with chocolate dip would have been good but all in all a delightful experience

Anton Du Beke and Erin Boag and the company were entertaining and a very enjoyable evening was spent by all three of us

User

We had a great time listening to the Peatbog Faeries at G Live on Saturday night. The curry provided before the show was very tasty and good value. The staff were all helpful and served you with a smile on their faces. We will return! The Faeries were great, the atmosphere fantastic.

User

Just been to see KT Tunstall who was excellent even from seats near the back and the sound quality was v good, also been to their studio, it is a well designed modern complex and everything seems to work. We live in Teddington and prefer to drive to Guildford than go to London venues

User

Fantastic venue. Saw Blood Brothers. First class show, actors were terrific. Stage setting and scenes great. Seats felt too close together, as touching a larger lady next to me. Also seats on the flat were not staggered so not good to see properly. Cafe good very good but a tad dear and a bit of a wait.

User

What a great venue! It was my first visit last night to see the incredible Blood Brothers Musical. It's a small place to stage such a big show, and I could see that certain parts of the set had to be omitted. My only criticism of the venue itself is that the seats on the flat floor aren't staggered at all, so even though I was in the second row, my view was restricted by the man in front of me. Slightly shifting alternate rows would allow people to look through the gaps. Other than that it was a great night, and the cast performances were exceptional!

User

We have been to G-live several times over the last few years and it is a great venue.

User

Very easy and accessible. The stairs to the lower level were very weird on an angle. Didnt like them at all. Saw Ben Portsmouth ..... absolutely brilliant.

Had a meal in the restaurant. Very nice but for the price, portions were tiny and not very hot. Not sure if I would eat there again.

On the whole the staff were very friendly and helpful

User

Sadly value for money very poor.Expensive tickets but only 90 minutes of Aled Jones.Concert stared 7.30 interval 8.15 until 8.45 and finished at about 9.30.At £68 for two seats?Aled performed well but feel short changed!!G Live you need to do better!!

User

I attended my first visit to the 80s Tropicana night with a group of friends last night. It could have been better.

When we collected our tickets they were not pre-printed like many others so this took time to find ours. We received our wrist band and offered free glow sticks and sweets

Around 10 o'clock we headed to the bar to top up our drinks , at 10:40 we were still waiting to be served, by which point we were sobering up and getting impatient. We gave up and headed out and decided not to go back in.

Having paying £10 for our tickets to get into this function, I expected a short wait for the bar, but a 40 minute wait was a step too far.

Knowing how many tickets had been sold, I don't see how they couldn't provide a more efficient service at the bar or offered alternative areas for drinks.

Needless to say we will not be returning to another Tropicana night anytime soon.

User

G live is a good venue, we went to see Alexander o Neil. Doors opened at 7.30

Support act on till 8.45, he came out did 2 songs then a tribute act played tribute to the great artists who have died in the last year, then came back out and did 5 songs and that was the end! Poor of g live to agree to that to be honest, came to see one act not 3 and paid £35 a person.

Possibly on Alexander O'Neills head, who knows

From a g live point of view, they need more staff behind the bar, it was extremely slow!!!!

User

Too expensive! Priced out for many families - for example - Snowman (1hour)

User

Really disappointed to find the start of the Jasper Carrott show tonight was 7.30pm instead of the 8.00pm as advertised on the website!!

Not only had we had our tickets changed from last year to today’s date ( due to jaspers illness obv not cross about that part) but now we can’t go in till the interval so missed half the show! Really cross! No real apology except there was a ‘slight problem with the website’.. my poor mum who is near 80 and this was her birthday treat, has been really looking forward to the show and is so upset to miss half of it! Really disappointed and will be getting in touch to complain. Apparently no one in authority here to advise us!!

User

unimpressed by the customer service which took several hours to respond a simple question and even then i had to simplify the question so that they could respond with a yes or no.

Also disappointed with the fact that they decided to not offer a refund to people who could not make it to the venue because of the atrocious weather conditions. All relevant security services advising not to travel due to the snow, several roads closed, overturned cars, trains cancelled and stuck on the lines but for GLive it is reasonable and expected for people to risk their lives. The decent thing would have been to offer a refund to whoever could not make it, but it is clear that "decent" does not apply to GLive.

User

Woodstock Experience- it was awful. Lovely venue with great staff and have seen some great shows in the past but this! Disappointing to say the least.

User

Very disappointed with the venue and how they reacted to the poor weather - recommended not to travel and yet no one answered the phone to discuss options. Refunds were offered for the following night despite the event going ahead. When I queried why refunds were not available for the night I had booked I was told it was due to the event going ahead. Inconsistent and poor service. Have emailed but no response.

User

Very disappointed that you have decided to host the hunt ball - what were you thinking?? It is unacceptable this day and age that you would deem it appropriate to host a gathering of people who get their kicks out of chasing an animal and watching it being ripped to pieces. However they dress it up, that is what these people do for 'fun'.

Rest assured that as an events manager I will NOT be considering your venue for any of our future events.

User

Used their advertised Black Friday deal to purchase 2 for 1 tickets for circus. This discount was then not applied to my booking but I didn’t notice at time of booking. Now they refuse to refund - quite simply false advertising

User

Today I tried to buy 3 tickets to see the performance in 2019 and Martin (who said that he is a manager) said that I can't have 3 seats I chose because he can't leave a single space. This is discrimination, I have 3 family members! Also this year I booked tickets for the same show and I was in the same situation, but that time when we called the venue we were allowed to buy 3 tickets and leave 1 next to us empty. I didn't find any information about it on the Glive website in T&C. At the end I had to buy 4 tickets for 3 people. I am very disappointed. Very poor management, staff not helpful at all in need of customer service training. Martin didn't connect us to his boss when we asked for it. Awful expirence.

User

Let down customers, cancel shows! Do not book anything from this company! No good will either!
