Words can't describe how brilliant gtech motor-works are when it comes to technical knowledge, experience, honesty and workmanship. I had a massive problem with my vw golf. Engine lights were flashing and car came to a stand still. Gtech managed to book me in immediately and carried out a diagnostic. They pinpointed the exact problem, which resulted in the whole engine being removed and some very complex work. As much as it was costly, but for the amount of work carried out and the final result (the car was running like new) it was a bargain. What I was also impressed with was the fact that gtech motor-works actually showed me the damaged part and explained the whole problem that had occurred in much detail. This is the first time I have experienced this, I have took cars to bmw, vw dealerships but these guys are way better in all areas. Very highly recommended. I'll defo.be going back in future. Keep up the excellent work guys.

Used for car service last year as not impressed with audi main dealer and finding a trustworthy garage is difficult. Last week I had fault lights showing and no abs or stability control etc and they fitted me in straight away even though really busy. Sorted problem and great service and car came back like it had had a valet. All staff friendly and helpful and even got a follow up call to check all ok. Beats main dealer and would recommend.

My husband took his bmw 135 soft top in today unfortunately due to the complex nature of the problem with the car we were unable to fix it as such but considering they had the car for a few hours the owner told me there would be no charge at all and gave me some helpful advice and even had the car throughly cleaned all free of charge so will definitely use for any work in the future. I've used these guys a few times now, most recently to rebuild the diff on my BMW. Although the rebuild turned into a bit of a nightmare job they took the time to do it properly and honoured the original quote. Fairly priced and workmanship is excellent.

I found G Tech by accident on a trip visiting another company nearby, I popped in for some advice on a potential problem with my VW Touran, the staff were very accommodating and took time out of their busy schedule to offer assistance. Following this experience I returned as my vehicle needed a cam belt replacement, the personal service, yet again was superb, the quote was competitive and I had real faith in their technical knowledge, the real pleasure in dealing with this company was the fact that they were not pressuring the client into changing vehicle components for the sake of it, I talked about a number of issues with my vehicle that, I my eyes, may warranted component replacement, they were honest and didn't at any point pressure me into something that was not nessasary. Absolutely great service and a real credit to themselves, I felt like the 'customer' and not another money making outlet, highly recommended. A bench mark organisation. They even provide a wash and vehicle Hoover following vehicle maintenance. Well done and thank you to all at G Tech

I first came across G-tech as I was after some advice on my car, Having tried to obtain advice from the dealership where I had always previously taken my car but were reluctant to help. I did a quick google search I found G-tech. They were extremely knowledgeable and offered me great advice. I booked my car in with them, I'm so glad I did, These guys have saved me so much money. I called G-Tech with no clue why my engine had failed, they had me booked in the next day for diagnosis. Imtiaz Husain stripped my engine down and found the fault after 5 hours and asked me to come in to view the damages to my crankshaft shells. ��

Had my full service done with G-tech around a month ago on my BMW X6 diesel, I have always been wary of main dealer and with a recommendation from a friend a came across G-tech fantastic group of lads down there with unbelievable after care had my car in today for a check up to make sure everything was ok for piece of mind couldn't have been more looked after fully recommend this is my garage from now on moving forward look forward to seeing you again but hopefully not to soon lol

Had an issues with my wife's BMW X3 2005 M Sport, 3 warning lights appeared together (the 4x4, ABS & Brake light). After taking it to 2 different garages in Derby, and still unable to find the root cause decided to take it to G-Tech after reading the reviews.

Matt rang me within the morning with 2 possible solutions to the problem, took time to explain the options over the phone. These guys have the same diagnostics equipment as the BMW main dealers have, so was very confident that this would resolve the issue.

Matt did clearly state due to all 3 warning lights coming on, this repair might only resolve 1 or 2 of the lights. The repair to replace both rear drive shafts did resolve the issue, but the 4x4 light came on after a few days later.

G Tech guys told me replacing a small plastic wheel in the transfer box would resolve it. Happily to report all is good with the car. Thank you for your assistance, would highly recommend these guys simply because they know their stuff. Nice valet too.

Had a simple oil service with them, cost was reasonably priced, the service and support, they were very helpful, and gave good advice, letting me know what may need to be done in the future, giving me an idea of price but not pressuring to say it needs to be done right away to take my money. They are very honest, knowledge, helpful and willing to do anything. They prioritise customer relationship, piece of mind and satisfaction. They will answer any question and give you an idea of the details. Very happy with the service and will be using them again in the future.

Had a Vanos Solenoid problem with my BMW 325 M Sport. I was recommended by a family member to go to G Tech. These guys are excellent from start to finish, gave my car to them and they gave me a courtesy car to drive around with so that i wasnt put out. They rang me and gave me a comprehensive breakdown of the problem, which i must admit i didnt get from other BMW specialists, the care and the amount of time they spent with me to advise me on the course of action i needed to take was amazing. Got my car back and it drives superb. Will recommend this garage to anyone who has a german built vehicle. Brilliant customer service!

Amazing job on my 335i from g- tech i have showed it to many mechanics and garages who couldnt identify the problem let alone fix it but here at g-tech boys diagnosed the problem straight away and sorted it out all within a day - main dealer quality and service without the main dealer prices
