I moved into a property just over a year ago (i have moved out since then only stayed for a 6 month lease, thank god they did them). well i know this estate agents have rave reviews but i am afraid to say mine experience was not pleasant AT ALL. When going to enquire the staff seemed very snobby and not very helpful, i don't know if that because i was young, i'm not sure. but this house was in a perfect location so i proceeded.
When moving in there were many problems still to be fixed which i was told this would have been sorted when i viewed the property, it was not.
The lady who i spoke to, i believe her name was chantelle?. was so rude on the phone when telling her these problems she hung up, so i had to ring her back not bothered in the slightest said 'these are problems you have to fix', faulty light fixture, unsafe dangling plug socket off the wall, severely stained carpets, the overall cleanliness. Well i was shocked i knew then I've made a massive mistake going with this agent, but contracts were signed, which i tried to pull out of but they would charge me until the landlord found other people to let the property.
Throughout the first few weeks i was constantly ringing to check on progress but again they didn't seem to care so i just gave up thinking it was only 6 months then i can get out of this hell hole.
Concluding to me as a tenant i thought the agents are there to help and accommodate you if a problem arises. i did not have this at all and it felt they were more on the landlords side in helping him out and not a mutual benefit. they called me a liar, was rude every time i spoke to them was not professional when dealing with a customer. I was relieved more than anything to get the hell out of there. Never in this life time going back there. But that lady who I dealt with, cannot talk to the customer like that and get away with it, you should be ashamed you made me feel i was not welcome in a house i was paying for through your agency.

I think Galley have been fantastic selling our house in Bentley. Teresa and her team have been very helpful, informative and pleasant to deal with throughout. It was a quick sale, well priced and overall excellent.

Really knowledgeable, friendly, customer focused estate agent. I had my property on the market for 20 weeks with a larger estate agent and didn't receive one bid. After a couple of days with Galley, I had 2 bookings lined up, with generic information about the buyers to put confidence in the viewing and within 2 weeks I had an offer at full asking. The process has been easy, with both Theresa and Kirk both providing important information and updates, which during the stress of a home move is exactly what you need. The photographs are absolutely incredible and it's worth instructing Galley for the market leading care of presentation to a buyer alone. Hopefully my next house is my forever home, but would definitely use Galley again.

Avoid lake the proverbial plague.
I was unlucky enough to rent a property through these charlatans. From day one, the property was a nightmare. The day after moving in, the dining room flooded, which we were told was our fault for blocking the drains. It was that mad, we had to move out and into a hotel, with not even an apology offered.
After 6 months of the same problem occurring, it came to light there was builders rubble blocking the drainage under the driveway of the property. Again no apology offered.
After further problems including the living room windows coming away from their hinges, damp, large amounts of plaster falling from the ceiling. The final straw was the oven stopping working. We were left 6 weeks without an oven, with excuse after excuse as to why no one was coming to fix it.
I arrived home, to find a hand written note shoved through the door giving us two month notice to vacate the property. No reason was given, so we were left to deduce that the reason we were given notice was due to us having to ask for repairs.
Certain members of staff (I won't name names, but they know who they are) are rude, obnoxious and down right patronising. The company seem not to understand the right tennants have, or have any regard for the Data Protection Act which they breached on numerous occasions.
There are far better letting agents out there, so I would urge everyone to avoid this shower.

Such an easy process to sell my property using Galley Properties. Teresa is very professional and makes you feel at ease and Tashana is a lovely helpful person ,answering all your questions and giving you the facts. I would seriously recommend this Estate Agents as they are THE BEST!!

Chantal was very helpful until we sign and give the deposit and pay the agency fees..after 2 hours I sent an email to change the house , but no answer. I went to the office and she said that she didn't even read the email just forward it to other colegue.
This was unprofessional from my point of view . Apart from this issue. Olga and another colegue( can't remember his name , sorry ) from office was alright . They speak with you normal not with superiority even after you pay all fees.
I was trained that in sales our client is our master. And you have to try your best to satisfy the client even after he sing and pay if you want to keep him as a client. But from the experience with Chantal I said in office that I will be client until the contract will expire.

Now at the end I will explain for who is reading reviews what happened ☺. I visit an flat like it , when to office and I give straight away 200 half of deposit and 150 agency fees. When I got home with my miss and thing twice about the flat we was thinking is to small for as ( as it is ) , so I sent the email I mentioned to Chantal. Because I didn't got answer I went next day in office to check . So i said that I'm agree to lose 200 the deposit , but to use that 150 on other house from them. Chantal said is not possible just if I lose all and pay again for the new house. With that I wasn't agree so...i stay in the first flat I visit.
So, my advice to others is to think twice coz from her you not gonna get any help in changing something after you pay.

Today served notice for no reason other then reporting problems with our house, some problems that were reported when we moved in close to a year ago.

Have conveniently 'lost' our tenancy renewal which means we aren't covered under the revenge eviction law.

Certain members of staff have a terrible attitude who couldn't care less about the issues they cause for their tenants.
