Asparagus Season is nearly here! Asparagus season runs from approximately the end of April to late June: and generally, symbolises the proper arrival of Spring. We love using seasonal products and relish the opportunity to work with fresh British produce. It is always a delight when couples take the chance to plan their menu while incorporating the change of season and their favourite flavours.

Unforgettable Wedding Food...
‘’The happy couple decided on a menu full of British classics and family favourites, starting the wedding breakfast with prawn cocktail, followed by shepherd’s pie for the main course and finally a decadent sticky toffee pudding to finish. In the evening, the chefs fired up the barbecue and served up burgers, hot dogs and chicken kebabs to the newlyweds’ friends and family.’’

We had our wedding on Monday 13th June & cannot fault the food we were served! Every guest praised the food, even our 'fussy' eaters! They made adjustments where we requested and it looked just as stunning as it tasted. A bit gutted I'd have to get married or be invited to a wedding to try it all again though Thank you so much!
We had our wedding at Morden Hall on 11th November 2016 with Galloping Gourmet providing the catering for the same. We cannot fault anything - everything was absolutely perfect from the canapés and drinks after the ceremony to our wedding breakfast to the coffee and pizzas at the end of the day.
Every guest had nothing but positive comments about the food and pretty much every plate looked like it had been licked clean! We would heartedly recommend them to anyone!
We got married at the beautiful Clock Barn on 9th October and we're lucky enough to have Nicola and her amazing Galloping Gourmet team looking after us. The food was out of this world and the service was incredible. Nicola couldn't have been more helpful and made our day so spectacular. Our guests haven't stopped talking about the food and the organisation of the entire day! Thank you! �
We got married at Clock Barn on 16th June 2018 and we had the perfect day. Staff at both the venue and Galloping Gourmet were absolutely amazing and made our day everything we hoped it would be. The venue is absolutely stunning and the food is delicious. We couldn't recommend this venue and caterers anymore if you are looking for a barn wedding!
The service Galloping Gourmet provided for our wedding at Wasing Park was outstanding. Amy & Steven are an absolute dream team and really couldn't have done more to ensure we had our perfect wedding day. Omg where do I start!
My wedding last Saturday 29th July at Wasing Park and the food and the service was just phenomenal!
Guests were raving about the food and the miracle that 120 Beef Fillets were cooked to perfection and no one had to wait a long time for the food.
And the bespoke pudding was out of this world. Nothing was too much trouble and nothing off limits to make the day ours.
Nikki Wood and Gemma Plant were brillant as our event Managers and they meant sure we were looked after at all times. We can't thank them enough.
I can't recommend Galloping Gourmet enough. They helped make our day magical from start to finish. Wasing Park and Galloping Gourmet are a match made in heaven

My husband and I got married at Morden Hall and we were blown away by the amazing Galloping Gourmet staff. So friendly, professional and thoughtful. They even noticed when we were very busy greeting guests or having photos taken and went out of the way to make sure we still got drinks and canapés and didn't miss a single part of the day!
The food was delicious and looked absolutely beautiful. The attention to detail was stunning, with flowers, dry ice and other flourishes making the wedding breakfast a truly magical experience. And to top it all off we had the outdoor pizza oven in the evening, which absolutely delighted our guests!

I think one of the amazing things about Wasing is their collaboration with Galloping Gourmet. We were supported and offered advice by our wedding co-ordinator Jemma Garland. Honestly she was just fantastic, not only did she help us plan our entire day she made sure the day went without a hitch. We both would agree that our wedding wouldn't have been the same without her.
I don't think the bridal party quite believed how little they had to do as a result of the skills of Jemma at Galloping Gourmet.
Our guests have raved about the service, the food, and the atmosphere that this truly magical venue and amazing team helped us to create!

Galloping Gourmet truly came up trumps for the wedding of my wife Nicola and I at Wasing Park yesterday: all of the food from the canapés to the 3 course meal and then the evening stone-baked pizzas were incredibly tasty and were constantly praised by our guests. The service was excellent, in particular we feel compelled to give a special mention to Helena who really went above and beyond! She made sure the day ran like clockwork and kept reassuring us that nothing we asked for (including last minute impromptu changes!) was too much trouble both leading up to and most importantly on the big day itself. We want to say a sincere and heartfelt thank you to Helena and all the team as this made us enjoy everything that little bit more and only focus on what matters most which is being present in the moment and cherishing it all! Wasing Park as a venue deserves the best and with Galloping Gourmet you are certainly not left disappointed that's for sure: top notch!

Galloping Gourmet provided our food for our wedding at Bassmead Manor Barns on 3rd October 2015. I have to say, all my guests, without exception, were astounded with the quality and speed at which our meals arrived. We had a fixed menu, of which the main was fillet steak, each and everyone came out to perfection, there was not an unhappy guest at all! We also had the Turkish Meze in the evening which was cooked outside on a BBQ, which again was faultless and loved by everyone. Nearly 3 weeks on and I still have friends and family reminisce about the food as a highlight of the day, it was amazing and made our day perfect. So heres a massive thank you to all the catering staff and of course Galloping Gourmet, just perfect!! x

Visually stunning and exceptionally tasty - I would highly recommend them. Also - their ability to accommodate a multitude of different allergies was great and kept all guests happy.

Before our wedding day was when I first discovered how organised and precise the GG team are at Clock Barn. We were made to feel special with every interaction we had with them. The finite detail that this team go to to ensure you have the most perfect day without having to worry is beyond words.
On the day of the wedding, our co-ordinator was faultless. Ensuring we kept to our schedule but in the right way, our day ran smoothly and I cannot thank the team enough for that. Everything just happened and I trusted in them completely due to all the preparation and planning they had completed with us ahead of our big day. The food that this team produce is exquisite- a number of our guests complimented and advised it was the best food and service they had ever had at a wedding making every penny we spent 100% worth it.

A week after we got married at Rivervale Barn and all our guests are still commenting on the day and the food. The quality, presentation, service and abundance of food helped to make our day perfect.
We haven't had our wedding yet but very disappointed that they want to charge £3pp corkage on a wedding favour!! Its a miniature liquor that u add to champagne this isnt going to stop them from buying your drink in fact they might buy an extra 1 to add it too. Anything they can do to add costs they will.
We had our wedding in July this year the venue was stunning.
Our issues with galloping gourmet started during the wedding planning.
Firstly our wedding co-ordinate assigned had literally been thrown in at the deep end (obviously not received any training)and did not understand anything we were discussing.
After we complained a more senior person was assigned to us by Galloping Gourmet.
The wedding day came upon us and everything appeared exceptional.(as one would expect for the cost).
However during my wife's speech the microphone played up. Normally I would not have minded!!!! However her speech was 20 minutes long and it took 19 minutes for a member of Galloping Gourmet to enquire 'is everything ok'!!!!!
The food however was exquisite.
The evening went well.
We stayed in the bridal suite that evening and everything was perfect, until we awoke.
The breakfast was a cold danky slice of processed ham and cheese slices wrapped in clingfilm left overnight in the small fridge accompanied with dried and almost stale croissants (2 to be precise). But no butter! Only herbal tea bags to boot!
A cleaner found some lactose margarine.
Definitely not what I would expect from a venue like this with the price tag too.
We then started packing away all the effects we had supplied for the venue only to be left open mouthed a speechless (only for a few minutes), then I became angry!!
The staff from the night before had put all our flowers including the wife's bouquet in the bottoms of a basket and loaded all the heavy items on top.
I don't need to tell any of you brides/grooms to be that flowers cost an absolute fortune!
Galloping Gourmet response was ' I don't understand why you are complaining as we (Galloping Gourmet) have done nothing wrong and your complaint should not be directed at us.
The Venue- Rivervale Barn, Yateley, Hampshire.
Whilst I cannot fault the venue, the food or the wedding day, too many issues arose which put a dampener on everything.
And what is more concerning has been the response of their management with our complaint.
In summary Pay Up, Shut Up is the motto of Galloping Gourmet.

Wow Jacks knowledge is 2nd to non, we also have the same farrier!!! I have re loacted from Cornwall so needed to find somewhere where I can establish a good relationship with. Was chuffed with my 6ft 6ins fly rug. She also took time to confirm which size my big 17.1 Andalusion would need as he wears a 6ft9 for winter pj's, so we were very happy when Jack showed us her big boy Harry and yep it was as Jack suggetsed 66 would be fine. It was mor elike having a friendly consultation and I was so happy to spend an hr in her shop getting products I needed and had never come accross before, she cares more about the correct product over the selling price - advised me of a different hoof ointment, as an older lady she is old school and very knowledgable, my husband listened to everything she said and we both learned more stuff. Cornwall is so different with grass etc, nothing is too much trouble for Jackie.

I cannot praise this little shop enough. On many occasions when I have needed something Jackie has opened the shop early for me without any hesitation. Incredibly helpful in finding what you need and nothing is too much trouble to order in if an item can't be found. Very knowledgeable and friendly with some brilliant bargains in store- definitely worth a visit! Thankyou!!
