We had an amazing experience here tonight!

Great food, amazing wine and the service was just excellent. Everyone that touched our table tonight had an impressive knowledge.

A special thanks to Daniele for being very nice, he was excellent in every way!

Regards,

Laura, Daniel & Annalise :)

We ate from the Chef’s menu. Excellent choices. I loved salmon starter and mushroom risotto. Sommelier (young lady) very helpful with our wine choice. Fast and friendly service made the whole evening one to remember. Fabulous building and so close to Liverpool Steet station, very easy to find. Go there you will not be disappointed

User

Very good food and wine tasting although our Sommelier Julia was mean on the wine portions compared to other tables that I saw being served!

The food was excelente and well prepared I’ll recommend it to my friends! The service was immaculate!

User

The duck parfait is to die for.

So is the pannacotta.

Brilliant, helpful staff. And the wines!

User

Service 5/5. Food pretty great 4/5. Bottle of £66 Sancerre that is £19 to buy online not great really, shame 1/5 for mark up.

User

Lovely service from the bar to the server to the manager, excellent top-notch food.

User

Lovely food and great service (we were there at 6pm on Saturday, just before it got busy, so had the full attention of the stuff). I enjoyed the vegetarian tagine and the apple tarte tartin the most. Nice selection of wines as well.

User

I have visited La Chapelle twice and been blown away by the place both times. The food, location and service are impeccable.

On both visits, I ordered the tasting menu and it's been different but excellent on both occasions. Today our waitress Ellie, was brilliant.

La Chapelle are excellent at accommodating specific diatery requirement, my dinner guest was Halal and I don't have shell fish this was handled brilliantly.

The meal was a gastronomic delight serves at a leisurely pace, ensuring you have time to savour every perfect mouthful.

I can not recommend this place highly enough.

User

Fantastic food it was our second visit no complaints service was good friendly staff and a nice surprise awaited us with dessert for our Anniversary can't wait to come again

User

Fabulous set lunch in a wonderful setting. Service was excellent and staff extremely helpful. The wine adviser was knowledgeable and recommended a Greek wine to us which was lovely (we would never have picked it!).

And for an open kitchen, we didn’t leave smelling of cooked food, which was great. Well worth a visit.

Another Galvin Trip (my third and best!)

Booked to visit my third Galvin venue and unquestionably the best.

Started badly as they said they don’t do taster on Sunday lunchtime, but waiter asked chef and he agreed to domit specially.

Each course was stunning great flavours and beautiful presentation. First course was a crab course ( had a small piece of shell in it (not easily forgiven). The rest of the food made up for the shell glitch.

The stars of the meal were the Mushroom Risotto but the best was the Pigeon. The truffled Brie was delicious, maybe needed some bread/cracker?

Well worth the trip and apart from a couple of tiny glitches, very good. Toilets pretty clean too.

User

Although a Michelin starred restaurant, the atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming and friendly. The essence of the Chapel's structure has been retained with its high ceiling and exposed beams. We had three courses of divine food coupled with excellent wine choices by the sommelier. The waiting staff were brilliant especially the maitre d' who I rewarded with a kiss (surprise). A haven of refinement within the frenetic Spitalfields area.

User

Absolutely amazing dinner! Fabulous venue, attentive staff and delicious food. The menu gourmand was simply stunning!

User

7 of us went mid week for my daughter's birthday - first time for us. We all had the chef's menu, excellent food and attentive staff. At least 6 arrived with her desert, with candle and "Happy Birthday" chocolate. Will definitely be back. We do go to Galvin, Green Man in Essex frequently, another great restaurant.

User

We chose from the chefs menu and I had the salt baked celeriac veloute followed by the Sea bream, both of which were excellent.....the desserts were probably good at best but the setting, service and overall experience was very good...I’d recommend it.

User

The food was absolutely awesome. The servers were extremely polite, but the service was not what I’d expect from a Michelin star restaurant. To crown it all the Visa card mess up, we had to wait for 1/2 hour to get the wine list!

Feeling bad that I’m writing a review that is negating the lovely food we ate.

User

I would say it was good. Great service, foodwise i think it could have been tastier for the price tag.

The pieces of bread given before the meal should at least be warm and fresh.

User

Very much a mediocre experience. The waiter that insisted on mumbling in my ear so that I couldn't understand him was a personal highlight. The food was good. Not quite sure how they managed to get and keep a Michelin star. (An interesting setting though)

User

Service was a bit off yesterday; Had to call someone over after 10 mins to order some pre meal drinks which then took so long to arrive they were served with the starters. Wine waiter thought one of the youngest members of our party would be best person to try the wine rather than the person who had ordered it and a special birthday desert (as agreed on booking) did not materialise!

Not sure what happened to the advertised Easter Egg hunt but the two children in our party were disappointed it didn't take place.

Food was good though and interior of restaurant is worth seeing.
