Absolute fabulous customer journey from Jamie at the Redditch branch. I had what I thought was a complex issue but Jamie had the answers to everything and resolved the issue very quickly and in a very professional way. Very friendly and such a pleasure. An asset to the company!!!

I am usually a big fan of Game despite them being more expensive than online stores and CEX. on 10/01/2017 I went to the store to trade two PS4 games (C.O.D. advanced warfare and Just Cause 3), I already new what CEX would give me for them (£4 & £13) but I wanted to trade at game so I could buy Resident Evil 5 or 6. They offered me £3 for C.O.D. and £9 for Just Cause 3 exchange. I told the staff member who checked them for me that CEX would give me £17 for the two games and politely left. On my way out of the store I saw a big poster saying that they match any trade in offer so I went back into the store and pointed this out to the staff member. He told me that it has to be a printed offer, I felt this was a bit unreasonable as the CEX offer can easily be checked on their website so I pointed this out to him and asked him to check that for confirmation. He (with a straight and disinterested face) said the internet was down (really!) so I offered to show him on my I-phone to which he replied that this would not be a printed copy. I tried to insist that there was no difference as it is their official website but he was not at all interested in helping me further.

I left the store feeling very irritated and disgruntled, I had my heart set on buying Resident Evil 5 or 6 re-master and will now buy them off Amazon or CEX online. I can't believe that in todays economy Game can afford to turn away willing customers with such disregard. My son and I both do a lot of trading of games in Redditch but I will be giving Game a miss from now on.

Good for games and does part exchange on consoles

Small shop so as you can imagine the stock is limited. Mainly new games so prices are high but there is a small second hand section. I can't help but feel this brand has a few more years left before cloud based games just wipe it out.
