A much modified (whistle, water top up, 34" pressure gauge and boiler cladding) Regner Willi now has rc and will self start if the cylinder is in the right place
I've fitted radio control to the regulator on this ancient Regner Konrad. It's free running and will usually self start which is unusual for a single cylinder oscilator
A beautiful little gas fired live steam 0-4-0 saddle tank based on a mining locomotive. Manual control and slip eccentric so it needs a nudge to set the gear in forwards or reverse

We're at the Midlands Garden Rail Show today and tomorrow
All we need is snow. I can't believe that last year we couldn't attend this show due to being snowed in.
Steam Railbus
A very enjoyable day yesterday with our friends from The East Surrey Group of the 16mm Association
Looking forward to the Summer and running the garden railway
Some familiar engines from our friends at The Rochford Garden Rail Group, and I have to say most of the engines have spent some time in my workshop
Busy with Ronson gas valve conversions from the genuine Regner valves. When fitted they will not compromise the guarantee on a new Regner live steam locomotive.
Regner live steam vertical boiler Chaloner
Fitting radio control to the regulator on a Regner Konrad
Early morning run with a Regner Konrad now fitted with r/c to the regulator
