Huge thanks to all those who tuned in for the virtual pub quiz last night. Outside of a couple of issues with people finding the feed to join in, I think it went fairly well.
So well, in fact, that I'll be doing another one.

I was telling my Changing of the Guard tour group about how I'd seen a film crew shooting the new James Bond movie last week, and how they should look out for me in the background when it comes out.
An eight year old boy looks me up and down and says "I think they'd edit you out."
Harsh but fair, kid. Harsh but fair.

Work on the updated website continues, and it should be ready to launch next weekend.
I'll be adding some new walking tours around London, letting you know how to join me on an out of town tour*, and sharing a few tips, secrets and discounts to help you get the very best out of your trip.

Well that was a productive morning - as of April I'll be starting as a driver-guide with Day Tours London, taking small groups out to the Cotswolds, Oxford, Canterbury, Dover, and (somewhat inevitably) Stonehenge.
I knew that minibus licence would come in handy.

I've picked up a couple of impromptu tours today; I'll be taking people around Soho, Chinatown and Leicester Square at 11am, and I'll be doing a Rock'n'Roll tour at 3pm.
No charge, they're those tip-what-you-think-the-tour-is-worth-at-t he-end-of-the-tour tours, just make sure you fold the tip up neatly when you hand it to me.
Both start outside Boots in Piccadilly Circus. Drop me a line if you want to join me.
