Based at Garstang Academy, we have something for everyone. We run 4 senior ladies teams, 1 mens team and have a thriving junior section. We also have a Back2Hockey /New2Hockey section for those who'd like to play socially.
Garstang Hockey Club Description
Welcome to Garstang Hockey Club.
We run 4 senior ladies teams, 1 senior mens and multiple Junior age group teams for Girls with Boys just starting out; for 2019-20 the Ladies 1's play in West Division 2 of the Regional 'North' League, Ladies 2's play in the LCWHA Premier Division, Ladies 3's in Division 1 and Ladies 4's, aimed to be a blend of youth and experience, play in Division 2. Our men will play their first season in the North West Hockey League Division 4 North North since forming last year.
Our thriving youth section is now attracting youngsters from Garstang Academy and surrounding areas to participate in our exciting sport, supporting the future strength of our Club. We recognises its future strength depends on established players being successful on the pitch, combined with investment to produce quality and enthusiasm among its younger members. All underpinned by an enthusiastic and proactive Committee.
We want all genders and ages to be inspired and supported to reach their full potential and live more healthy and active lives through sport and physical activity. Our club understands the importance of sport in changing lives.
