Helping people deal with personal difficulties and problems and to find (and live) their individual uniqueness. My work, in addition to areas addressed in mainstream psychotherapy, thinking and feeling, includes working with the imagination, dreams and the felt-sense (body). Technically my work would be described as Transpersonal or Psycho-spiritual, in that I see we are more than our ego, more than who we think we are. Psychotherapy means to pay attention to the Soul, so this requires a particular kind of attention that avoids the cold normalisation so prevalent in psychotherapy today. My work encourages embodied, soulful, passionate living and it is surprising how often this comes from being with (rather than overcoming) the very thing we perceived as a problem.
