I was surprised to discover that there was no reminder to have my boiler serviced. It was entirely up to me to book an appointment. when the engineer arrived, he was totally professional , he carried out the service very efficiently and explained the whole process to me. He put a cover on the floor and cleared up after him. He gave the boiler a test run to make sure everything was working as it should. I was very happy with what he done and in the way he conducted himself.
However I feel that the annual cost is excessive. I have a relatively high quality ,young boiler which I am told is very unlikely to give any trouble and therefore I feel that the annual cost should be varied according to boiler age and quality.

I first used this company when I had a boiler emergency... it started pouring with water and I was very paranoid as my 1year old sleeps in the same room as the boiler. I rang British gas, and another local gas company who were unable to help or get to me quickly as it was late on a weekend. I tried Gasway and they were really helpful. They couldn't get there straight away but helped me stop the leak over the phone to prevent any more damage and came 1st thing the following morning. Since then I have signed up to their boiler insurance scheme which also includes an annual boiler service for extra piece of mind. I've always had the same friendly engineer come out and nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely recommend Gasway to anyone in need of assistance, I have now been a customer for nearly 2 years and feel their service is excellent.

This one star is for the very lovely engineer who was the very first person to visit me regarding my boiler. She's the only good thing about your company. A company in chaos with no communication. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Cannot understand for the life of me why Flagship got rid of Aaron Services as they were brilliant, but I guess it's all down to lowest price. The stress you caused me over a 2 week period was unbearable. Next time my boiler goes wrong, I will pay to have it fixed privately then at least I will be able to book an "appointment" which is something alien to Gasway. Do you think that we all sit at home doing bugger all waiting for you to turn up?!? I'm absolutely disgusted!

Had a service engineer come and inspect our chimney liner and woodburning stove very polite did a very good job. Then gave some advice on the best way to use it for the best results. You can only put in the review your experience.

I have always found that my Gasway Platinum Maintenance Contract gives me fast and effective service every time. It's great value too. A "must have" in the winter months! Friendly, helpful, skilled Engineers who always go the extra mile. Recommended!

Appalling customer service. We have been with them for five years. Their demands for payments arrive as regular as clockwork but they have never once sent a notice that the annual service was due. Each year I managed to remember but they never apologised or rectified the matter. This last year I forgot and consequently our boiler was not serviced. When I rang to complain, I kept getting the same refrain, that it was up to me to book the service. They clearly don't care one bit about their customers or the boilers. Have nothing to do with them. We are leaving and they are refusing a refund for the missing service. Dreadful.

Given a time between 8am and 6pm. I rang to see if they could give me an estimated time as I had something important I needed to go do. Told me they would get back to me after contacting engineer. 2 hours later I rang back. They then spoke to engineer and I was told 5pm. Not even the common decency to let me know that I would be wasting a whole day for nothing as the engineer knows roughly what time the jobs are and where. Terrible company!!

Without any shadow of a doubt the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Our boiler breakdown policy wasn't worth the paper it was printed on and I urge anyone reading this, not to even consider going near one of these pointless policies. We were left without heating or hot water, during the coldest week of the year, not good with a young child to keep warm. We all became terribly ill with stress and chest infections, as the lack of a serviceable boiler slipped past 3 weeks and on into a month! Countless 'engineer' visits, countless phone calls to 'customer services', countless arguments with 'managers' and countless time spent off work waiting. Days on end waiting for spare parts, only for the boiler not to be fixed, yet again. One time I had to loosen a bolt in the boiler myself, as the engineer couldn't do it! The last time we saw an engineer, he left promising to come back, but was never to return. Alas, we finally had enough and purchased a new boiler at around £5k from a much more reliable and efficient local company, who were a pleasure to deal with. Had we known our ordeal was to drag on so long, we would have gone elsewhere on day 1. I hasten to add that our boiler breakdown issues were in part caused by the lack of satisfactory annual maintenance, as carried out by Gasway! this was confirmed by their own engineer, who to be fair, was a very nice guy who was unfortunately left to clear up the mess of his colleagues before him and sadly he lacked the required skill to actually fix the boiler, despite his many visits. I am dumbfounded by any positive remark I read about this company, which I can only presume to be written by their own staff or family? Just check out their Facebook and Twitter pages, which are awash with complaints. We have reported Gasway to Oftec and I have been so drained by the experience that I have only now found the energy to write this review in an attempt to save my fellow consumers the harrowing experience of dealing with these people.

We have needed their assistance a number of times for different issues everytime (We have an old boiler).

Our calls were always answered promptly by a friendly person and their engineers have always been polite and helpful even though I'm sure they work very long hours.

I am a very happy customer who would not hesitate to recommend their services.
