Straight through, no problems or long waits. Everything has easy to read and understand signage directing you where to go. Helpful staff
It's an OK airport with a great selection of restaurants, coffee shops, gift and clothes. The station also has regular services to London Victoria and London bridge and south coast
Grubby floors and seats not entirely surprising since the cleaners seemingly spend most of their time playing 'trolley vultures' to obtain as many errant £1 coins as possible under the transparent ruse that it 'all goes to charity'. Well plainly not true unless Gatwick Rail Station is full of charitable, altruistic souls and, less so, when secreted in pockets furtively. That needs to cease because people notice this behaviour. Spend cleaning time cleaning. Other station staff no better on this.
I was horrified by the reception we received when trying to buy tickets at Gatwick this morning. One operative in particular was rudely urging tired passengers struggling with luggage to "come along", if they hesitated for a second once a ticket machine became free. He spoke to them like recalcitrant children, not moving quickly enough in a fire drill or some such.
I realise the need to move people through quickly, but this can still be done with a friendly smile, and MUCH better attitude. For many travellers, this will be the first person who has spoken to them since they arrived in our country - what a truly AWFUL welcome.
More regular night time services would be useful! Long gap between 00:00 and 1:58! Plus bigger areas for cases! The 01:58 is packed this morning. Plus side - contactless accepted on Gatwick express trains
Once again ended our holiday with the caose of staff cuts and cancelled and delayed trains at gatwick.
Big thanks to the staff on platforms 6 and 2 who kept us updated with the changing platforms and made sure we got on the right trains 5 star service by the guys.
Not enough ticket machines for a customers to buy tickets from and the ones that are there are broken.
What an appalling experience!
Poor signposting to station (hidden behind hoarding).
Buy tickets and enter barriers, only to find lifts to the majority of platforms are OUTSIdE of the the station concourse, some minutes walk through the airport, then down some godforsaken corridor.
The signage throughout is so appalling oi struggle to understand what sort of incompetence has resulted in this debarcle.

Rude train staff ...needed train frm gatwick to luton on 21/05/2017...12.00am WAS not told that if you get train frm gatwick there NO trains till 3.18am ask same staff member if the bus picks up the link serive WAS told she is not the bus company so she dosnt know ...
Ok im sure it has( info so is this not help desk) now do i pay exter for her rudeness ...? Or the exter to send this poorlly train girl off to better training center cos she needs it ..once i try to exlplain that she was being rude I WAS TOLD BY THIS RUDE STAFF MEMEBR that she will not help me ....err you have not help me at all thanks you gatwick aiport nice place you have here ...not 😠😠😠
