Went here for our dear friends birthday and they did not disappoint! What an amazing experience with plentiful and delicious food and wine. The setting was amazing on a summers eve overlooking the Thames and our waiter was faultless. Definitely the best steak I have had in a long time. Thank you Gaucho.....👌👍

We visited Gaucho in Canary Wharf we were recommended to go there by our neighbour who is an employee it was a special treat for my hubbys 60th,from the point of entering the building the welcome was fantastic,the place was beautiful lots of attention to detail setting the mood for our special evening,once seated the waiter was thorough in explaining the menu and advising us.

The starter, the main,and dessert were all superb

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely visit again,the experience was everything we were told it would be and more.Such a memorable evening.

Visited Gaucho on Saturday 17th March for my son Luis’s 20th B’day. Quite simply the best Steak � we have eaten. Fabulous Wine, amazing steak and great cocktails �.



I’ll be honest it was near perfect �



One slight issue the sausages (4) were a little cool however still tasty.

Took my amazing missing to gaucho,we loved every bit of it from the drinks to the starters and the main.

Even the staff where really helpful,would recommend this gaucho at Canary Wharf than the o2 one.

Super friendly, helpful and efficient service. From the bread at the start, through the (admittedly expensive but delicious) wine, fantastic starters and one of the best steaks I have ever eaten, everything was so tasty. Pleasantly surprised by the final bill which wasn’t cheap but was good value given the quality.

Outstanding piece of steak. Great place. Will return

Other than a wait for our starters the whole experience was fabulous. Food and wine excellent and service exceptional. Very helpful informative staff. Discount on bill and free chocolate truffles was an excepted recompense for the initial wait. We would definitely recommend a visit and will come back ourselves. Thanks for a very enjoyable evening.

Ok, this has to be my favourite restaurant and that's after just one visit. Absolutely fantastic customer service, a natural and unforced ambience which means a relaxed atmosphere and buzz. Despite other customers we felt like we were VIPs and also had a great view overlooking the Thames.

Food and wine and both were of the highest quality and mind numbingly good that just when you thought you couldn't manage another mouthful your senses told you just one more sip and bite.

Truly a five star experience

Excellent food and nice environment. It was my husband birthday and they even give me the desert with the happy birthday candle thanks that was very kind of you .

Absolutely love Gaucho. Food was spot on. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. However my only criticism is, don’t really agree with adults allowed in with tracksuit and trainers on. Especially not on a weekend, kind of lowers the tone.

We arrived earlier than expected and had a great experience at the Bar. The young man even going as far to whip up a few of his own cocktail extravaganzas and they were amazing. Friendly and engaging. Really set the tone for the night.



Table service was great. I've never been to Gaucho before and our wonderful waitress went through everything with us. Steak options, wine list and even suggested some great combinations for us to consider if we were unsure.



The food was great. The steak cooked to perfection. Our desert was even brought out with a little candle and the words Happy Birthday on the plate. It was really quite special. So thank you.



This 5* reflects both the food and customer service received last night. Great job all round.

Everything was excellent except the bill. £80 for a steak, a burger, 2 sides and 2 drinks a bit overpriced.

Went for the bottomless electro brunch. The music was good as was the choice of food and choice of drinks. However we had to keep asking for the drinks to be topped up (including the water) and any form of special request was not considered. I asked for my eggs to be scrambled instead of fried and was told it would take too long (it's eggs...it really doesn't take that long) and that the kitchen was too busy to cater to my request. I happened to be sitting in full view of the kitchen and it was certainly not busy. The waiter still bought over my egg fried despite me asking for no egg then if I couldn't have it scrambled. So there was a lack of attentiveness to a degree for what I feel wasn't a huge request. For that, only three stars.

Overpriced steak and the burger was dry and cold (salad contribution was 2 small littlegem lettuce leaves), chunky chips were soggy and uncooked ... although outside dining area was stunning by the river, £100 for one rump & one burger and a bottle of Rose is too much. Waiting staff are friendly and professional. A trip to the Ladies downstairs was a horrible mess and had to mention this to staff on coming upstairs to go and sort (obvs hadnt been checked all day). Would not recommend or go back.

Mostly ok but I went for the 400 gram rib eye and was so disappointed tough full of sinew left most of it because it would not cut, I like the gaucho but was not worth the money for the steak yesterday

Food was good but some of it very overpriced: gnocchi 9.95, glass of wine £14.50! Although rest of my party enjoyed and finished their food I was only able to eat half of my steak and was unfortunately rather ill when I got home. Something clearly disagreed with me which put a bit of a dampener on the evening.
