We had the most expensive item on the menu and it certainly exceeded expectations. The desserts were amazing and the coffee was perfect. They add a 12.5% tip which I don’t like but it could not distract from the main theme of the night. Perfect food.

We had an absolutely superb evening at Gaucho last night. The service was impeccable and I can't praise the whole evening enough. By far and away the best night with you so far. Thanks for taking such great care of us. We'll be back soon!

Location on the Thames is fabulous. We were there on a Saturday and even though it was busy the service was great the staff were knowledgeable on both food and wine. The steak was the best we've ever had tender and cooked to perfection. Great place for a special occasion.

Food was absolutely amazing and the service was even better! Our waiter was amazing and remembered every little detail, remember exactly how we wanted our steaks and also remember I was driving and offered me another coke when our food came! I’ve always loved gauchos and it’s an amazing resturant for special occasions.

First time at the Richmond Restaurant and couldn’t fault it. From start to finish the meal was perfect. The waitress was also awesome. Let us taste a few different wines before choosing. Great night can’t wait to go again..

First experience of Gaucho’s today for lunch and it was fabulous! A very warm welcome when we arrived, sat in the bar area whilst waiting for a friend and the bartender made me a lush mocktail as I’m expecting. When we were shown to our table the waitress was SO lovely and looked after us really well. We didn’t feel rushed at all! Interior 100%, staff 100% and food 100%. Thank you Gaucho Richmond !!

Totally overrated and overpriced. It was OK but expensive for what you get really and the wine list is average at the lower end so if you aren’t prepared to spend £100 a bottle be prepared to spend £50 on a £5 bottle which will leave you with a headache

The company was beautiful and stunning - but the food was a shocker. How can you have guest spend so much money on wine and champagne - to then have key elements of the main course come out cold.



Chateaubriand must have been ready at the pass for 10 mins, Simon and Kinga were great - but clearly either not enough staff or not experienced for the price you are expected to pay.



And that's why I always go to Hawksmoor!



8th Aug update: Simon who manages the restaurant called me personally to apologise - nice touch. What was a poor rating for the night has now moved up to a good rating because of the customer service. They clearly care.



They've also gone some way to restoring my faith in Gaucho and perhaps one day we'll give it another try.

Il start by saying I have been to Gaucho London Bridge and canary and loved both times, when I got to this place we loved the location and was warmly greeted and shown to our the table had crayons and dirt under it which I wasn't impressed with but as I have kids myself I didn't complain, my 11 month old given a high chair, I lifted him into the chair and as I reached down to fasten him in there was no straps, as I called the waiter over, my son slipped through and had I not grabbed him by the head, he may have been seriously hurt, he was stuck in the chair, whilst my wife and I frantically tried to free him, at no point did any passing staff come to See firstly what was going on and secondly to see if they could assist, I freed my son and went straight over to complain to a waiter, only when I took my son outside to try to calm him down did the very apologetic manager come out and check my son was ok, he was polite and went and got a new chair with fastenings and apologised again, I'm aware this restaurant isn't aimed at children, but they should check things are safe before handing them to people, also staff should be aware that when u hear a very loud scream from a child and watch 2 parents frantically trying to save their child, that maybe they should see if they can help, having said this the food was decent, I would say service better in the other gauchos.
