Gb Snowsport Description
GB Snowsport was formed in February 2010 to take over the development and management of elite British snowsports after the previous governing organisation ran into difficulties.
At the time, the British Olympic Association helped launch GB Snowsport to enable athletes who were already in the training camps for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics to compete. With the support from personal donors, commercial sponsors and some government lottery money, GB Snowsport raised enough funds to support the team of athletes in Vancouver.
