I have worked within engineering and predominantly building structures for over 31 years and have applied Revit for over 16years on a wide variety of prestige projects Worldwide. My experience extends from structural to civil, rail, power and specialist surveying. Having developed bespoke Revit families to achieve reinforced concrete detailing and having generated an integral bar bending schedule, which is populated by the placement of bars within the Revit environment. This has enabled faster detailing and scheduling. This has proved increasingly beneficial for our clients and the projects involved. I have developed a reliable multiple placement workflow, that positions, orientates and manipulates any family into a geo-located position via an external spreadsheet. I have Dynamo and Revit, coupled with an Excel workflow. The three approaches together, make for a powerful and versatile combination.
