On Saturday, we had the last sessions of our EPIC Dulwich College International workshop tour of Asia.
We've had an amazing time with iGCSE and IB students in Beijing, Singapore & Seoul, and Y10, 11 and 12 students in Shanghai Pudong & Suzhou, who all devised beautiful scenes with commitment, focus, emotion and most importantly: BREATH!!
Education is an absolutely massive part of what we do and we're so lucky to be able to have the opportunity to teach the Gecko style all ar...ound the world.
Thanks to everyone across the tour who has made us so welcome in each country/city and have looked after Ryen, Lucia and Pippa so well! We’ve had such a blast and we can’t wait for the next one!! 🇨🇳 🇰🇷 🇸🇬

Wow, wow, wow!! The Wedding is an incredible piece of dance theatre. Sucks you in, challenges, reflects and confronts the ties and binds in life. The shedding of the trappings and joyous freedom was so moving. Exhausting too, not just for the performers! A stunning evening.

Wow, we have just watched The Wedding. It is an amazing production, so different from anything we have seen before. Just incredible, moving & challenging.

Well, it's difficult to put in a few words but here goes.... The Wedding....



Profoundly moving. Chaotic eloquence. Beautifully chaotic. Pure & eloquently delivered choreography. Brilliantly realised by the powerful dancers.



Dynamo Bellisimo!



What a rythym. What a pace. Charged.

We have just watched The Wedding and it has blown my mind. Visceral, moving and exhilarating. Incredible synergy in the cast. Thank you.

Tonight's performance was fantastic. My teens both loved it too. It was funny and dark, sad and mesmerising. It left us all discussing the various themes highlighted, as well as the clever staging and story, and some alternate endings! Thank you!

The Wedding is a powerful, dark, beautiful and moving extravaganza - a feast for the eyes...and ears! Fabulous.

Saw Institute earlier today and it was genuinely one of the most stunning pieces of theatre I have seen in a very long time. Everything about the production was beautiful - the set, lighting and sound design along with the performers were in complete unison and complimented each other perfectly. I was left completely speechless. Gecko Theatre are definitely one of the most innovative, inspiring and exciting theatre companies around at the moment. If you haven't already seen this exceptional performance I urge you to go!

Mind blowing last night at the Doncaster Cast front row and wow so moving the wedding and the music and actors played each of there parts amazing

I am absolutely blown away by the sheer excellence of not only the performance, the visuals but also the social commentary. I have been inspired immensely and instilled with a sense of hope for better times to come. Thank you all very much for reigniting my passion for changing the narrative on social justice through theatre.

Gecko are, in my opinion the most innovative, exciting and truly awe inspiring theatre company around. I have seen their last three productions and each time I have been blown away. I took my 17 year old daughter who is studying Drama to see 'The Institute' last night and at the end she turned to me and said 'I want to make theatre like that.'

Gecko I loved every detail of your performance last night at The Hall for Cornwall, it was moving, thought provoking, funny, sad, inspirational and very entertaining, never seen you before please come back again.

A thought provoking, contemporary and utterly beautiful piece of work. NEVER seen anything like it. The boundless energy and excellent performances were amazing...My first but not last viewing. THANKS
