Ged'S Pets

Hello, my name is Ged, I am a 16 year old reptile enthusiast. I use this page to provide updates on my pets and to sell any livestock I produce.

My full name is Gerard Murphy but I go by the name Ged most of the time. I am 16 years old and attend sixth form where I study A-Level; Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography, General studies, EPQ and the AQA Baccalaureate. I hope to attend a Russell group university to do a degree and a masters in Zoology or Herpetology and go on to do a PHD.
I have a real passion and respect for all animals. I have kept inverts for the past 10 years with my first invert being a pair of Indian stick insects. My first reptile was an injured slow worm which I kept for a few months when I was 11 before I released it back into the wild. My first true pet reptile was a leopard gecko which I got when I was 14 called Linda who I still have today, and even since I have grown my collection of geckos and begun to breed them as of 2012.
I am not for profit, this is purely a hobby. I spend a lot of time and money on the husbandry of my pets so make a loss on each gecko I sell, which is why this is a hobby not a business.
Recently I have acquired a pair of rubber boas as my first snakes.
