Took my road bike in for a service and a few replacement parts. Was dealt with very well and didn't try and sell me anything I didn't need how places like Halfords like to. Was also a fraction of the price Halfords charge and a much better job. Highly recommend and will use again.

Been dealing with this shop for over 20 years and quite simply the guy and his wife are superb to deal with, nothing is too much trouble for them and both are quite happy to go the extra mile and get you that part what is very hard to get anywhere else. Proper old fashioned bike shop with modern bikes and parts, simply the best for miles around.

I needed by sons bike fixing asap as he had lost a cog in the derailieur - i phoned halfords first as i didnt know any local bike shops and they quoted me £26 and could'nt do it that day - i then tried Geoff and 2 hours later the bike was fixed for just £8!!! Dont waste time looking elsewhere just go here - a great local business and a true gent.

after going to geoff smith for quite a number of years and spending quite a few £s over the years on kit and equipment etc ,around 6 months ago i took a wheel in to be repaired which he said he hadnt got the correct tool to straigthen it (give him the benefit of doubt and took it somewhere else who sorted it for me ).now having just dropped a wheel off last saturday 8th october for a new free wheel hub which i purchased from him some 7-8 years ago ,was told they maybe no longer available ?but would order what he thought may be correct one £65,on tuesday went to collect hub it didnt fit and was told basically that my wheel is now obsolete and would have to buy new ones £220 ,thinking this was strange ask for refund and said i would be back after my hoilday.now having taken wheel to green machine in horwich on friday was rang up 75 minutes later to say wheel was fixed and would cost £15 for parts and labour bike now sorted and useable again .unfortuneatly i will never use or recomend geoff smiths ever again
