George the Gorilla is the official museum mascot of the Nottingham Natural History Museum at Wollaton Hall, Nottingham. The museum contains an extensive collection of 750, 000 natural history objects including fossils, minerals, taxidermy animals, plants, eggs, and insects. The collection behind the scenes is used for research and education, and we promote nature conservation. Entry is free!
