To all you budding sewing bees out there. Georgina Elizabeth is delighted to announce that we will be offering sewing lessons.
We will be offering a beginners class for all of you who want to know how to use your sewing machine and an intermediate class for all of you who want to create a masterpiece.

I've had dealings with Georgina Elizabeth on several occasions and have always found the staff incredibly professional, helpful and pleasant. This is a community shop with old school values and a modern outlook, and I'd have no hesitation in recommending Sam and the team at every opportunity.

I've had a dress altered by Georgina Elizabeth, because the one I bought from somewhere else didn't fit. They were exceptional, got it exactly right and done so very quickly.



Whilst I've not yet had the pleasure of ordering a dress from them I've seen the phenomenal work that they do, and it's stunning.



All of this with great people skills as well and excellent customer service.

I had my wedding dress altered here and I couldn't be more satisfied. The ladies in the shop were all very helpful, professional and friendly especially Sam and Frances. They had to take a lot off of my dress and hem it (13 layers!) as well as shortening the straps and putting waterfalls on my train. Thoroughly recommend them to any bride who needs work on their dress.

Did a promotional shoot here. Beautiful clothes with such friendly staff! Being a girl in the pear shaped department, their dresses do wonders for my derrière! �

Being a woman who is larger than average I struggle to feel happy with finding dresses that suit me in department stores. Then I came across Georgina Elizabeth, from start to finish I received excellent service! I was able to find 3 carefully selected dresses that not only made me feel comfortable they made me feel confident! I was even able to request for a petticoat to be made to fit one of my own dresses. I would highly recommend!

Amazing!!! Sam and the team of lovely friendly ladies designed and created my beautiful wedding dress and bridesmaid dress, they incorporated everything I requested including pockets, they helped make my special day extra special.

Would never go there again! Expensive and rude! Even on 1st appointment they were rude and I wish at that point I'd gone somewhere else. Dealing with these women is horrible. The quality of the work is good but not a nice experience which when things are for your wedding it would be nice to be treated nicely x

Used this shop many times in the past and recommended it often - I now wish I hadn't I went in there today and left fuming! Four people watched me struggle to open the door which they'd locked because of the wind, when I finally got let in all 4 ignored me, I had to ask who I should be talking to, they couldn't even be bothered to look at the items I had for alteration told me I'd have to wait weeks quoted me a ridiculous price and promptly went back to work as though I was invisible I had to say "sorry but weren't we in the middle of a conversation?" Shocking customer service!!! There used to be a lovely lady in there but the owner had only bad things to say about her - will never go in there again or recommend

What a horrible bunch of ladies with no customer service skills or care to their customers. How they are still in business is beyond me. Over priced, rude and awkward, all under one roof.

I used this shop a couple of years ago with brilliant service so recommended to my friend. Well what a mistake!!! My friend (the bride) under my recommendation decided she would like her bridesmaid, flower girl dresses & mother of bride outfit altered at the shop. Rude service from start to finish! The girls working there are 20 if you're lucky so very inexperienced with a bad attitude! Got told off for not wearing the right bra on the first occasion, (honestly wouldn't affect the dress in any way!) Had pinned flower girl dresses ready for alteration to be told, "they must be here so we can do our measurements, we can't go on yours! Must come asap to get in done in time!" A young girl walks in looking for a prom dress at this point.... the girl says "we are busy at the Moment with appointments but you can come back later if you want?!" (They have one rail of dresses she could have looked at!) I actually wish I had told her then to go to quiz or lipsy and save herself the bother and rubbish service from this shop!! Anyway back to us, the other bridesmaid goes separately and the bride is asked for amount to be confirmed for alterations, nobody from the shop called and she got charged £100 to take the dress up and slight sleeve change!!! Absolute rip off with crap customer service! I'm just warming up..... we go for second fitting very close to wedding date as they hadn't done anything and I think my dress had been taken up and that's about it! No amendment to sleeve that had been paid for so mentioned it at time of trying on and response was "of course we have tightened sleeves"' no you bloody haven't! The mother of bride outfit is half completed when it should have been finished and they say oh come back next week you can try again then! No way!! It's too close to wedding day and should have been done. Anyway the young girl says she will iron the bridesmaid dresses to be collected later that day, all agreed and we leave. (Not majorly happy but less than 2 weeks to wedding so what more can you say?!) bride goes back to get last flower girl measured and collect dresses but in the meantime the dragon boss has shown up and said that steaming the dresses isn't part of the price!!! WTF!! Seriously can't iron a few dresses for the hundreds of pounds already paid for the crap disgusting service!!! The shop still refusing to do it the bride takes the dresses & mother of bride outfit somewhere else to get it sorted!! How is this right?! Never ever again will I use this shop or ever recommend anyone else to go there.... good luck with your business because when word spreads about how useless you are then you will need it......
