what a perfect night!

food was perfect, we had greek salad with bread for our initial starter followed half hour later by a seafood platter then some pork kebabs!

At this point me and my partner decided we could eat no more as we were absolutely stuffed.

The owners asked us if we would like to take the main course and dessert home with us, so we decided that was a great idea.

We had it the next day for our sunday lunch and it was delightful.

The elvis tribute was amazing,his singing was ace (but his humour inbetween songs was even better). the rod stewart lookalike in the crowd was the butt of a lot of the humour & deservedly so.He looked a right wolly with his hairdo.

All in all for £30 each we thought the food and entertainment was brilliant, it was our second visit and shall defo be returning soon

went for my future daughter-in-law quiet version hen do meal leaving the big hen-do for the young ones in Liverpool lol had a lovely time. the food was amazing so much food i was shocked lol everything was so tasty too. the people who run it were so helpful and friendly every thing went of perfectly. they must be used to large parties because everything went as planned. just looking for another excuse to go again haha

Wow wat a lovely meal � it was a celebration on my silver medal and a tournament i did earlier in the day despite suffeein with shin splints :L but food was really good and defo go back there on my next tournament

What a fantastic place the food is authentic & awesome .We went to celebrate my wife's 60th Birthday an amazing unforgettable experience the staff are amazing pleasant and nothing is to much trouble for them I would without hesitation recommend this venue. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening

We travelled here from Coventry today for the first time and it was more than worth it! The staff were so helpful and friendly, the restaurant is beautiful and clean and the food was absolutely outstanding. Could not recommend Georgio’s enough, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and the Greek music just made the whole night!

We recently visited for a close friends 21st surprise birthday. The staff were really helpful and polite, they even helped to set up the table decorations! My friends and I visit quite often and the food is always amazing and the staff are incredibly attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The portion sizes are huge and great value for money, I have never experienced a bad meal here and I have recommended to family and friends in the past (all of which also loved it!) and will continue to do so. One of my favourite restaurants in the area.

Wasn’t sure what to expect tbh but it was GREAT! Loads of fun and the food was really good too! Well worth it!

Was there yesterday for my cousins birthday.

Staff were friendly and made the extra effort all night. Food was beautiful and not rushed.

Traditional greek food served and would recommend it to anyone.

My daughters and myself had a brilliant meal here the staff were excellent the food was so tasty. We couldn’t quite eat all the food so the proprietor told us to ask the staff to bag the food for us to take home and they did,it’s a pity other restaurants don’t do this would definitely recommend and I will return again

I went to lots of restaurants in UK, but none is like this one! Georgio's in this moment is my favourite restaurant. The food is really excellent and the staff very friendly. I would give 10 stars if I could! Good job guys! Keep up the good work!

I ate here this evening for the first time. As we arrived the staff were fantastic, very friendly and polite. The food was absolutely stunning, we ordered the mixed mezze boards so we had a large variety of different foods, all of which were amazing!!! The portion sizes were extremely generous and we couldn't eat it all, however the staff were more than happy to bag the leftovers for us to take home. Overall we had a fantastic evening with incredible food and would more than happily recommend Georgios to anybody looking for fantastic service and great quality foods at a very reasonable price :-)

Great atmosphere, fast service but I would prefer the pita bread to be a bit more oily, the gyros to have been cut in smaller pieces and no cucumber inside as this is not the exact Greek recipe. But everything was lovely, I would come again.

Food was amazing and the staff couldn't do enough for us, even treated me to a few extras as it was my birthday! Will definitely be going back!

Dined here last night with my husband, mixed meze was outstanding and the backlava was to die for. It's lovely clean airy bright place to eat and the prices are excellent value for the standard of food served. Staff were so friendly, attentive and helpful. Would definitely dine here again can't wait for Greek night in June :-)

Came here last night (4th October ) for my birthday with family, we were greeted by the owner who was really friendly. The food was absolutely amazing, we had the meat meze and there was soooo much food we took a doggy bag home with us. I'm currently eating the chicken tavos for my lunch today and it's even more heavenly.

The girls who waited on us were brilliant, I loved every minute of my birthday meal, thank you Georgio's

Came for a surprise meal here for my 21st birthday, food was incredible and came out really quickly. Staff were really friendly and provided a great service as always. This is one of my favourite restaurants and I will always recommend this to anybody who loves fresh authentic food.

Myself and 4 friends went to the greek night last night. The food was very nice plenty of food more than enough for 5 of us only criticism very salty deserts very disappointing horrible in fact service was very good. Entertainment was very good only disappointment was we were expecting belly dancing would have been a nice touch

Well went last night for a special 50th birthday celebration unfortunately the food was nothing to celebrate about first course over cooked prawns the mussels were well over done the callamari didn't know whether to keep chewing

Or go outside and fit it to the four corners of the car for the drive home as would probably get more millage out of them than Dunlop's

Second course over cooked no flavour was looking forward to the stiffardo unfortunately it was more like Staffordshire stew lobby

On the up side the guy doing the entertainment on a electronic bazoce was brilliant if the food was as good as him would have brilliant the chef came out toward the end of the evening and did an excellent Greek dance if he put as much effort into the food this place could be brilliant to some up this place an example

Greek salad who can cock up a Greek salad this place can lettuce in a Greek salad no not ever then to pour dried crispy mixed herbs of it I don't think so

I'm a regular visitor to Georgios, and must admit I'm shocked at this review. If you were so disappointed with the food, why did you not speak to the manager at the time? Unfortunately with the best will in the world, everything can't be 100% all of the time, although I know that's what they strive for. I do hope you will visit again as I'm sure this was just a glitch.

Unfortunately this is the fifth time I ve visit this place and it's been the same each time however the giros was ok on two visits

The lady who posted this is some how connected to this place further more on the last visit we were promised belly dancers

What we got was this lady trying to engage the crowd to belly dance how ever her profile on FB says NHS I assume she is not a nurse as her dancing didn't make me feel better

However if she is a mortition that would explain the dance of the dead

And as to to nothing being perfect don't serve it use the bin rather than putting it on a plate

To quiet honest we left most of the food so it probably did go to your dog

Came here today for a quick bite to eat. It was lovely and clean and cool. Menu is quite confusing but the server was helpful.

We ordered the spicy pork sausage starter, which tasted good, a bit like chorizo.

We also ordered the smoked pork loin starter, however this was very disappointing. Was nothing more than 4 very small, thin slices of pork which had been grilled.

We also had 2 of the pork Gyros, these were lovely however most of the meat was infacg pork fat. A little disappointed, but glad we've tried it but wouldn't rush back again.

After reading very good reviews I was looking forward to trying the food here. Unfortunately I left underwhelmed but I’d give it another go in the future at some point.



The food was OK but was either under or over seasoned, cooked a little too well and lacking flavor. When I asked for ‘boukovo’ (a northern Greek condiment) to appease this the staff/ chefs didn’t know what it was. I’m no food snob and could’ve overlooked the fact the food wasn’t great had it not been for the price.



Apart from Notis Sfakianakis playing on repeat the experience as a whole didn’t feel very Greek. As far as I could tell no one Greek was actually working in the restaurant that night. This was confounded when we asked for freddo cappuccinos (i.e. a staple Greek cold coffee) and no one knew how to make one.



If you’re a local after a cliche Greek experience for the night then it caters fairly well for this market (I think it’s fair I base my rating on this perspective). If you’re a Greek/ of Greek ancestry/ regular visitor to Greece then don’t go expecting anything overly authentic.

A fair review I feel, myself and 2 friends enjoyed a night here tonight, the food was ok, entertainment was good but just feel slightly let down at the fact the was only 11 people in the whole restaurant, I’m an avid follower of the Facebook page And expected the same atmosphere as you see on a Greek night, if we had had a curtesy call to be told there wasn’t many people in we would have gone elsewhere looking for a proper xmas party night, probably my own high expectations at fault, food was plentiful but do feel as if we where kept there for there purpose As course tock a while to come out. Manage explained there situation about having last minute cancellations and tried to resolve the matter.

Had a great night. Oysters and sea bass. Perfectly presented by a chef who knows his stuff and served by a smiling waitress. Thank you Georgios.

Expected a new experience with good food great atmosphere well only 4 tables booked so no atmosphere and very dissatisfied with food especially when main arrived had booked for 4 course set meal decided to leave as soon as main arrived

After initially having a quick gyros from here a few months ago, me and my wife were keen to try more of the menu, as it was good! But you can't judge a Greek restaurant based on what is essentially a kebab!

So we popped in on Thursday night and had 2 x mixed mezze, which consisted of a mixture of fish and meat.

It was £22 per person, and despite there being more than enough food, it was very disappointing.

The King Prawns were massively over cooked, as was the chicken, to the point they were very dry and not enjoyable. We both felt like the whole dish lacked any taste or flavour, and was lacking the quality we expected for the price tag.

Overall, the night cost us about £65 including a couple of drinks each, very poor value for money. We don't mind paying that for an exceptional meal, but exceptional it was not.



I can understand why lots of people rave about it though, it has a nice feel, the music makes it feel genuine, and the staff are really friendly. But, when you can hop on a train and get to Birmingham and eat real good food for the same price and less, it has to be Birmingham every time I'm afraid.
