Here are a few drone stills of a Pioneer rig and crew we had at a tight-access lodge in Surrey, they were there drilling 4 x 5 m boreholes to install groundwater monitoring sandpipes after a fuel spill. The drone footage was taken by our client, Oil Loss Management, in between assisting us on site with the GI works by providing water at each borehole. This week we've had a crew with Pioneer & Terrier rigs carrying out a ground investigation at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre in Kent, on behalf of our client, Campbell Reith. The GI works are to establish the #groundconditions as part of the redevelopment of the existing surface level car park and construction of a decked car park. It's definitely #Autumn! #TBT from 1999 when we were featured in the Ground Engineering magazine for using this new multi-purpose rig on ground investigations we carried out on a proposed sewer project in Hereford and Worcester. How times have changed, to think this rig was a new innovative breakthrough in drilling technology and how far we have come. Great Gloucester based business with lots of cool trucks and diggers in the car park! It always brings a smile to my face when I see the Geotechnical vans driving about with the Stegosaurus on the side. Whenever I have visited the company, I have always found the people to be very helpful and friendly. Also love the fact that free bananas and biscuits are available to all staff on a daily basis. Who wouldn't want to work here!? Long live the Steggie!!!
