Gerard's Equestrian Centre is a DIY livery yard based on the Bere Peninsula, Devon - 15 minutes from Tavistock and 30 minutes from Plymouth.
The yard has facilities to suit all riders needs, from the happy hacker to the competition rider.
Gerard's boasts many class facilities, including; 18 stables - ranging from pony boxes to foaling boxes suitable for mare and foal -, storage area for each livery, hay barn, secure tack room (locked and alarmed), 20x40m sandschool with floodlights, summer jumping paddock with cross country fences and show jumps. post and rail fencing, all set in 30 acres of land, covered by CCTV with fantastic hacking both on and off the roads in the near area.
The yard's knowledgeable owners live on site, so as well as the CCTV there is also 24 /7 supervision. They also strive to suit every owners needs, and although we are a DIY yard, provisions are in place for those who need a little help.

Livery available, good grazing separate fields for mares & geldings. Good rotation of fields. Turnout all year round. Sand school with lights, separate jumping paddock. 07958 753042

We have 3 vacancies now due to unfortunate losses of horses at the end of summer. Lovely quiet yard on the outskirts of Bere Alston, DIY but we have a rota system in place for those who need a helping hand as we all work. Running water, electric, lights, sandschool with floodlights (ideal for the winter), group turnout in same sex herds, and in the summer have use of the cross country and show jump paddock. Are all now in at night for the winter, but over summer can be out 2...4/7. Nice hacking, the roads are fairly quite and drivers considerate. Tea/coffee room which we all share, secure locked tack room, spacious feed room, and hay barn - so plenty of space for storing. We very rarely get spaces as everyone is so friendly and relaxed that people often don't leave, it is just due to the unfortunate circumstances of one livery who had 4 horses, now has none, so 3 stables are available. Hi horsey people
Anyone interested in doing a MARY KING cross country clinic on 3rd march? Wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a session smaller than 2ft6? If you are get in contact with me and it can be arranged. At the moment smallest group is 2ft6 but a smaller course would be ideal for the more nervous rider or younger horse/pony.
It will be held at Bicton arena. Pm quickly!!
