Me Time . Well October started with another round of bad weather putting pay to any plans I had made to once again target a double figure Spurdog from the west highlands of Scotland. So I took myself off for a nice relaxing holiday in Tenerife with temperatures in the 80’s fishing was never going to be on the cards however it did not stop a few locals trying their luck around some of the structures that were scattered around the resort. excellent service and staff I ordered a zipplex custom build was built really good and very nice work. then I ordered a reel and unfortunately on arrival it was broken I spoke to a kind gentleman on the phone who informed me that none of this make was left in stock and wont be for a few weeks so he then kindly upgraded me to a more expensive reel 2 upgrades up from what I had ordered it was delivered the next day and the broken one picked up. I highly recommend this company they go out there way to do the best for you

Went in today to buy a new Century rod and have to say the service and advice is the best I’ve ever seen. Great shop and great staff�.

Top notch service! Had four Zziplex from the guys this year, build quality and attention to detail is fantastic and mirrors Gerry’s customer service! If there is any issues the team are prompt to get in touch with a contingency also!

Their mail order service is beyond excellent, it is awesome. I ordered a rod and reel in the morning and got it the next morning. One of rod rings was slightly damaged (it happens), so I called them and spoke to Mick, who was mortified. He immediately sent a returns label via e-mail and got a new rod to me the very next morning, collecting the damaged rod at the same time. I had to pop out but Mick got the Fed Ex phone numbers, I got a message from the driver and she was waiting for me when I got back. Some Ebayer's take nearly a week to send items and I had a delivery, return and new item in less than 48hrs. Outstanding! Thanks Mick.

Oh and just to say, I am very pleased with the Sonik SKS Black 14' (its a monster) and the Akios 651, very smooth. Thanks again.

Popped in quite a while ago now think I bought some weights elastic and a pack of hooks but the person who servers me was very polite and calm unlike some where they want you out the shop as soon as you come in ! I would recommend this tackle shop to anyone in the area and if not the travel will be definitely worth it the prices are spot on the mannors are spot on overall the shop is smashing and I will be using it a lot more , hope youse get the same service I did and if you do remember to share it with your friends !

Off shark fishing to cape Verde in November and do mainly carp fishing so not 100% sure on what I needed but you lads very helpful and I'm all geared up I'm mate who going with me said got everything spot on stuff thanks for all your help 10/10 from me cheers hutch

I've been buying my fishing gear from Gerrys for years now. They always have a great selection of sea fishing gear in store and more importantly the staff are top class and more than willing to discuss the pros and cons of different kit.

As a keen lure angler I can always be confident that Gerrys will have a good selection of lures, rods, reels in store for me to checkout.

I have been dealing with Gerrys for over 10 years and I have had great service and deals.when I bought a large Penn 2 speed multiplier reel and was buying the matching 50llb class rod .after I had paid .I was surprised to see that he had put my rod and reel through as a combo.deal saving me about £50..and from that time I have mostly delt wtih Gerrys for both sea and fresh water fishing gear.Nothing is a problem for him or his staff. Keep up the good work.and thanks for all your help.I have just came back from Norway ad usind the gear I bought from Gerrys I caught the heaviest cod of the week 44llb.and my best halibut of 120llb.

I have always popped in on occasions when passing to pick up some flies and other bits and pieces as I had done yesterday. On my most recent trip I was having a look at the selection of fly rods they had to offer and a particular one I had seen a while back. within a few minutes the owner was over talking me through them all giving me tips, and advice for future fishing trips, unintentionally I came out of the shop with a brilliant deal and the proud new owner of a new classic combo outfit and I couldn't be happier !! Really lovely bloke nothing was too much trouble, very passionate about his job and fishing and also very knowledgable, would love the fly fishing section to be extended but either way I'll be making more frequent visits to Gerry's

Came to gerrys today with the hope of seeing a aqua m3 compacts on display. They didnt have one on display but wasnt a trouble at all for them to set me one up. Dont know who i dealt with but he was great. Gerry and all the lads were so helpful. Left with a great deal on a m3 compact and knowing that you will be seeing my money again soon

Bought my century eliminator t1200 from gerry's the customer service was excellent as always. I shop here all the time even though its a 2 an hour round journey for me The knowledge these guys have on the local area for fishing different species is worth the travel alone and are they happy to share it you and put on the fish 5� from me��

Bought a few things online and managed to visit today, not disappointed!! Huge shop, great prices and very helpful staff full of information and recommendations, couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely return.

Big premises to cater for your every need. The staff are very knowledgeable and are always on hand to give you the advice you need whether it's on products or the best marks. They come highly recommended! And great prices to boot.

Best fishing equipment around the North West and brilliant advice to go with it

Well my partner wanted to order me a saltist bg30 for my birthday and after reading the reviews on this page she ordered from here. They took payment all was well delivery day came and went so I emailed them to see what was going on only for them to ignore me and after the second email they told me they didn't have them in stock but they had took the money then I was told they where chasing the order so I gave it 2 days not heard anything from them and by that point I was pissed so emailed them again only for them to tell me they weren't getting them in until mid September..... why take payment knowing they didn't have them in stock disgusting maybe they thought I wouldn't contact them or I don't know what they where thinking but it's disgusting what they had done won't be using again or reccomending this shite to anyone else



Ps I know this will be deleted never mind utter disgrace of a company
