Hi, I’m Julie Gardner, a textile designer and lampshade maker, living in Maidenhead, Berkshire with my lovely husband, two crazy boys and a sleepy black cat called Chloe. I have trained in Interior Design and love nothing more than sourcing fabrics and accessories to complement a scheme (even better, to make a lampshade or two with! )

gilhoolie has evolved from my love of sewing, drawing and making lampshades from beautiful, colourful fabrics, some screen-printed by me, others just chosen because they caught my eye.
