It’s been a ‘very’ glittery week! 🌟 We have been bauble making, stocking making, snowflake making, paper chain making, Christmas tree making, bell making, and so much more. We have also been exploring Christmas gloop. The children set up their own bus ride, and having been enjoying playing in the gingerbread house, yesterday it played the part of a holiday home in north Norfolk! 😊 We have been using the Ipads to look up the reindeer name, which led onto looking up Lego chara...cter names. The children have been showing their hearts of gold towards their friends this week, it’s been so lovely to see. We have also been practicing our song and actions ready to perform to you all 🎤 The library bus came to visit us, and we have been enjoying lots of Christmas books 📚 Happy weekend everyone See you next week 🎅🏻🎁🎄😊

Looking at quantities in the mud kitchen. Along with all this the children have had lots of fun with their friends.😊 Happy weekend to you all. See you next week

This week it’s been literacy week. We have been having fun with activities based around books and rhyming fun. The children have been playing rhyming dip in the well, and looking through the rhyming string basket, exploring song sack props, singing their favourite songs, drawing their houses, families, rainbows and much more and we have been hearing about what they are drawing and what marks they are making, practising writing their names, and one of our little stars wrote, c...at sat on the mat, through sounding and blending letter sounds.Lots of penguins have been created too. We had a fab yoga session during the week too. Today we were lucky to have good timing of finding policemen in the carpark after they helped a broken down car with a tow truck. We went out to say hello and they put their sirens on for us and had a chat. Happy weekend 😊see you all next week

The week began with lots of physical activities, Obstacle courses, self care, writing, pen control, building and threading Cheerios on pipe cleaners to make bird feeders. We finished on Friday, having fun and raising awareness and funds for Children in Need. Thank you to everyone that donated, we raised just over £14, added to the money we raised from the bag to school, we were able to make a donation of £20. Have a great weekend everyone.

This week we have been looking at communication and language and the children have been telling us all all about fireworks and bonfires as they created artwork including mandala patterns. Puzzles, towers and den building has taken place - thank you for our den building donations and also to those who have uploaded on photographs of your outdoor dens - they look fab and like a lot of learning took place. The library bus came on Wednesday and the children selected the next supply of books for storytime. Today we made 3D poppies and talked about Remembrance Day.

A lovely first week back after half term looking at the children’s personal, social and emotional development. We have worked on sharing, self confidence and feelings. 😀☺️😔The children have worked together beautifully to make dens and try to get into the big hall through the bolted door!! We have had a spooky week with Halloween face painting, pumpkins, apple bobbing and lots more. One little girl was even brave enough to be mummified. 🍏👻We’ve also enjoyed listening to the children’s trick or treat stories. We also had a a visit from one child’s pumpkin, Bob!🎃 Have a great fireworks weekend, looking forward to seeing all your pics on Tapestry. Stay safe everyone.🔥💥🎉

It’s been another busy and fun week, leading into half term. We have been looking at understanding of the world and expressive arts and design. We have been busy planning activities for the children to cover both areas this week and it’s been great enjoyment for all. The pumpkins have continued to be explored using all senses, cutting them, feeling them smelling and tasting!! They then got changed into a tunnel for the brio trains and even a minion! The children have been lo...oking at their families holidays and various transports, which led into a traffic watch in the carpark, this was so lovely. They have created their own treasure maps and then went on a treasure hunt, looking at their surroundings and exploring objects, wildlife, etc as they went. We created the ‘old paper’ using teabags and water at the beginning of the week and when dry we went on to the designs. While on our adventures a very large tractor tyre was spied in the woodland, we tried to get it for the children to help us role up into our main woodland area but we couldn’t budge it, so we are going to get more muscles and spades to help us get it where we know it will be fab for us. We also found the much loved chicken from the car park on our trail, the children were so excited, they have named him now, bless them. We have been enjoying some yoga and breathing exercises. Also musical bumps outside in the garden provide us with nearly a whole afternoon of entertainment. Next week is half term, we hope you all have a lovely week, don’t forget to think about den building! We look forward to seeing all your half term fun on tapestry and hearing about it when we get back. See you all on the week commencing 29th.
