Afternoon folks, so lots of people have been in the shop asking me if we know or are related to the man on the picture in the window. He was William singleton, my grandad on my mums side and he was stationed in Italy where he was blown up along side his 3 friends who all died. He spent many years in hospital where his injuries were so bad including perforated organs and burns to the point of needing many skin grafts he was actually lucky to have survived. So there you go, not just a random picture but the man who I’m proud to say was my grandad. #whalleyremembers #lestweforget #100years
