I've had such a brilliant and fruitful time in France, it's been many years since I've done a road trip here and I'm quite sad to be leaving. The heat was intense and on a level I haven't dealt with before consistently for the entire trip. Reminds me of this new piece, Giungla as it feels like I've spent the last 7 days in a jungle!

I have amassed thousands of photos from Chernobyl from a few visits to the exclusion zone, shot on 6x 6 film and digital. . I have been torn about it for a long time - but one day I will produce a full series about Chernobyl. I'm guessing a lot of you have watched the recent HBO series #ChernobylHBO ? The podcast is great too, give it a listen.
... I am releasing this print for display at The Other Art Fair at West Handyside Canopy between 4th and 7th July.
I will be donating £75 per small artwork sold to Chernobyl Children International. Chernobyl Children International https://www.chernobyl-international.com/ and I'll also be donating £75 per small artwork sold to Clean Futures Fund - Dogs of Chernobyl. https://cleanfutures.org/ I will share screenshots of donations to the charities once editions sell.

Fantastic evening last night at the @platformfoundation opening at 10 Hanover Street. Do pop along and take a look at the show, there's a brilliant variety of works by emerging artists championed and curated by @katebryan_art and the art team of @sohohouse Great to meet some of the artists in the show too. I'm still on a great high from telling behind the scenes stories about the abandoned locations. Very happy that Edition 1 and 2 of Grande Albergo are going to new homes - Thank you for the support! 😊

Airing Court
The areas in between the wards of this abandoned psychiatric hospital were used for exercise and fresh air for the patients. This was a feature which was very important to the day to day running of the asylum. They were known as airing courts and, for each court there was a shelter provided in the event of inclement weather. Male and female wards were on separate sides of the hospital, and in some cases "meetings" took place in these airing courts.
... I was instantly drawn to the view of the airing court shelter itself, from inside the hospital, with the ivy completely taking over the brickwork outside.

I've had a brilliant day exploring - this place was huge and had so many great corners to shoot. 9.30pm and just coming out - time for a pint before heading home! Looking forward to the exhibition tomorrow, who's coming?!

Really excited for the PV of @platformfoundation exhibition this Friday in Mayfair. Looking forward to showing this piece, Grande Albergo. Just framed by Mike and picking it up today - the print looks great (shot on my new camera) and it looks amazing with the low reflection glass. Might see some of you there - have a lovely rest of the week!

Really looking forward to this exhibition opening by @platformfoundation, guest curated by @katebryan_art who, if you don't know already, globally manages the @sohohouse art collection. She's kind of a big deal 😝 She's pulled us bright young (Can I still say I'm young at 33?!) things together. Can't wait to exhibit alongside @msmapes and @elizahopewellplates, @scarlett__bowman among others.
The exhibition publicly opens on the 10th of June in Mayfair at 10 Hanover Street.

... We had an amazing honeymoon despite both getting quite ill! But we made the best of it in Mumbai and Goa and are now home. I feel very lucky to have such wonderful and generous family and friends, and I thank everyone on here too who sent their congratulations! We really appreciate it.
