We found this new gem of a coffee shop by chance in Red Row, so close to Druridge Bay Country Park. Had gingerbread cake & chocolate brownie both were delicious and enjoyed a latte & cappuccino made from locally roasted coffee from Amble.

The hosts are very welcoming and we'll certainly be returning soon.

Visited for the first time today. This is a fabulous local business, very friendly and they make the best lemon drizzle cake I have ever tasted (gluten free) xx

This was our first visit and. Certainly won't be the last. The gingerbread is to die for and the ginger scones well...... Just perfect!

Saw the board from the main road and thought let’s give it a go ! Absolutely brilliant little place , the cheese scones are delicious, all of the cakes looked wonderful and the carrot cake I opted for was superb. Won’t be long till we are visiting there again.

Perfect! Amazing scones, cakes are to die for and the owners aren't too bad either ;) perfect place for a cuppa and chill out :)

No need to go further than your front door (well almost) to find the most delicious cakes, scones and drinks, served in a lovely setting with fantastically friendly hosts. Gingerbread Coffee House has it all.

My mam brought me some of your cake - I live in Harrogate. I had gingerbread, chocolate and beetroot cake, mars bar cake and courgette cake. They were all amazing! The cake was so moist nad kept really well! I love the combination of flavours in the chocolate and beetroot cake especially. Best I've ever had and I live near Betty's!!! I shall certainy be paying a visit!

Lovely place to go the lady is so so canny. She also has Gluten Free cake, I got the GF quiche yesterday and it was absolutely delicious. I will be back.

It's a fab place to sit and relax with a lovely cup of whatever you fancy from hot chocolate to special types of tea!! The cakes etc. are beautiful too!! Well worth a visit 🍰⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've been here twice this week. A cosy little space with excellent decor - love the brass pipe work on the counter, very clever + fantastic (all home made) goodies. Well worth a detour if you don't live nearby. Very reasonable prices and superb tea and coffee. You can also buy cakes and scones etc to take away. A new favourite place.

I sometimes call in on my way to dads at weekends and pick up a scone and a huge slice of cake, such a treat and great to have in the area.

Hidden gem. Pretty little place with amazing home made cakes. We loved it.

First visit while cycling back to Gateshead from Warkworth. Service was fab, cake excellent and the best cup of real tea I've had for years. Amazing value as well.

Fantastic birthday cake. Tasted divine.... voted, by the whole family, as the best chocolate cake we've had! Much appreciated, thank you.

Every cake I've tried is wonderful! The tea is beautifully served and the whole place is nicely decorated. A local treasure.

Dropped in here yesterday as we had passed the sign at the roadside but never been....Wow didn't disappoint the cheese scone was lovely and couldn't resist taking a couple of pieces of Victoria sponge home as the lady had just made it.defo be back to this little gem

Got to be the nicest, lightest scone I've ever had.

The cake and coffee on yesterdays visit were superb.

This place is a gem.

A good range of delicious goodies. Delicious scones and cakes. We had a yummy raspberry and lemon cake as a birthday cake and it went down a treat with everyone. The red velvet cup cakes we had for Valentine’s Day were lovely too. Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t already been. Just remember it’s cash only.
