Wow, what a fabulous place, great atmosphere, attentive staff, nothing too much trouble and the food was out of this world. Highly recommended and will definitely go again. Thank you for an amazing night.

Well, I have been surprised to read these 'not so good' reviews. We went this Thursday for my birthday treat and our food was delicious. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Brought me a Tirimasu with a candle and sang 'Happy Birthday' to me. We will all go again soon... Thank you Gino D'Campo's Restauranteers x

Lovely meal again and we got to sit upstairs in the open top area!! Food was gorgeous although a little slow to come out. Wine was extortionate at £9 per glass, so better to check this first!!

Lovely food, most comfy seats ever ÔŅĹ only down side was there was a party of atleast 10 kids and the parents just let them run around and shout, so it was very noisy and they were running back and forth. Quite pricy and a limited menu but nice

I just want to say , we had a fantastic night, we attended the restaurant for my daughters 29th birthday, the were 6 adults and my grandson aged 4 , I must admit I was apprehensive with having my grandson with us, however from the minute we walked in the staff were amazing, so family orientated , and the food was just the icing on the cake , thank you so much xxxx

Fabulous looking place. Made to feel very welcome. The decor was amazing. Specially when we went upstairs to the retractable roof. Sun was beaming so added to our experience. Served by Nicola who was brilliant with us. Food was excellent. Meatballs mmmmm. As well as Tiramisu for desert lovely. 1st time ever in a Gino‚Äôs restaurant & defo go back. Birthday treat last night not only food excellent , but whole ambience and vibe great, we were made to feel really welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the waiters , great place to eat and or go for a drink and get together with friends and family. Menu was promoted by the waiters superbly .

Birthday treat for our 13yr old, she had a friend with her & of course us. Lovely meal, lovely service, lovely sing of happy birthday in Italian & candle in her desert. The only down side was no pasta with the Veal Meatballs, my husband had this & said he thought they forgotten it ÔŅĹ

As an Italian don't very often eat at Italian restaurant's but must say food was excellent , service was fantastico even though they were very busy starter came very quickly and main course was piping hot and could tell it was freshly made , keep up the good work and would say it's just like momma makes well done Gino and his staff in Harrogate , from a very satisfied customer and would recommend anyone to visit this little gem .

After hearing a couple of bad points about Gino‚Äôs I have never visited since it opened. We were attending the Prosecco do and decided to eat before going. My sister has a nut allergy and rung Gino‚Äôs Saturday morning who reassured her that they cater for allergies etc. We had a very enjoyable meal. The food, atmosphere and service was top notch! We then moved to the roof top terrace for cocktails. My cocktail was not on the menu but he said i could have anything and kindly obliged. I will be back soon. Thank you ÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹ

I visited Ginos (Harrogate) yesterday with my wife and kids for dinner, when we first arrived we thought the decor and service were great. We ordered our meals and on arrival all looked good, except for the pizza my wife had ordered which had no cheese on it for some reason. The waiter apologised and rectified the error, then my son who had the bolognese almost choked on what looked like a piece of cocktail stick! The staff were apologetic but as a first impression it was not great, it may influence our decision to visit Ginos again.

I took my wife for an anniversary meal and we had a great time, the service was good and the food lovely, apart from the side of chips we ordered which were unseasoned and bland, once we pointed this out they were removed from the bill without fuss, lovely evening and the photo booth on the roof terrace was a giggle!

Food was very good, the only thing that let our visit down was how many times our waiter forgot about us, they did give us 20% discount as an apology, we will visit again because the food is delicious.

As much as I like a waiter to be attentive there is a difference to casual flirting and making the customer feel uncomfortable. Also our table was positioned in what seemed like the main short cut from one side of the restaurant to the other. My chair must have been knocked over 20 tines, I had two apologies but being constantly bumped is not my idea of fun.

I ordered lasagna without parmesan on top but it arrived with lashings of it.. the waiter had it scrapped off as it took 20 mins to prepare another but it was too strong for me and I end up leaving two thirds.

In my opinion the bar in the restaurant is too expensive.. we had a bottle of wine and two cocktails and this accounted for half of our £95 bill.

Got to say at the start I thought this was an amazing restaurant, as the decor and roof terrace are fabulous. The starters were also fabulous. As the evening went on the disappointments started to creep on. As much as you like a waiter to be attentive, there were so many trying to accommodate our table you constantly felt like someone was at your table (trying to rush us). After our meal we decided to go back to the roof terrace and ventured into the games room area. I did not see the need to look closely at the floor and went across the room to look at the pool table and look out the window to see what view there was. My friend then pointed out that there was a glass floor. I had a dress on!!!!! At no point should a women (or man if they wish) wearing a dress/skirt be put in a position where their privacy is at risk!!! Shocking design and should not be allowed. Have PM but as of yet have not had a response.

Booked a table for 8pm, we were done and dusted by 9pm. The food was ‚Äúok‚ÄĚ I‚Äôm afraid we will not be going again. On the upside the staff were very friendly but that is the only positive for our evening in ginos.

An over rated, very ordinary meal, greasy food, prosecco at £27.50 a bottle ( exactly same one can be purchased for £7.95. ) long wait between courses, food not hot, we had to ask to order deserts, overall an expensive, disappointing experience not to be repeated or recommend.

£12 for a childs meal is totally unreasonable. We are generally happy to pay extra for something special, but this wasn't. Then the waiter had the audacity to add on the 'optional' service charge without asking. Bring back Jaime's which was significantly better than this concept.

Very slow, waited 10-15 mins to order drinks when we had been seated, when we had finished our starter the plates were sat 20 mins before they got cleared. There was two ladies who came 15 mins after us who sat beside us and they had both there starters and main courses before ours. Food was cold, plain and not exciting.

Very poor and disappointing
