Yeah the "optional" service charge that is already printed and totalled on ur bill makes u feel bad for asking them to take it off so u end up just paying it!! It's naughty really!! My bill was.£80 cos of it!!!

Loved the Victoria Station location. Great vibes, great music and food. Wish I could get a CD of the music they play. We live in the states and I miss the people and food already.

Very happy with service today at Gunwharf Quays. They made our 7 month old son feel welcome by attaching a baloon to his high chair and even bringing over a children's book! Much better than some places where babies are treated as an inconvenience... we tipped more than the service charge.

Service was abit slow to begin with but once we ordered it was alot better and the food was great. Thank you.

I was told the waitress would only get 25 per cent of a tip if I paid on a card. Why is this? By the way the Vietnamese phi was excellent.

Wasn't impressed in Brunswick. Meal was mediocre, fries were awful, Mojito was ice, soda and mint leaves. No one asked for my opinion on the food, if I wanted another drink or a dessert. Service charge of 12.5%...what service? I won't be returning.

Slow service, thank God they were not busy .over priced for what it was and and didn't like the way gratuity put on the bill as we paid this when didn't think we should as not great .

Food nice not happy with adding service charge (I always leave a tip but hate to be told what to pay) but now I tried here won't be returning nothing very special

Went to this establishment in Cabot Circus Bristol for lunch. While meal was rubbish. Have complained on their main site and still haven't had a response. Reheated steak is disgusting!

Visited the store next to Twickenham stadium yesterday along with 6 friends after the army/navy rugby. The food was lovely but the service was awful. The waitress couldn't understand English very well and we had to point at everything on the menu. The main course took ages and had to be asked for (there were only about 8 other people being served). The starters were not cleared before the mains were put on the table. The bill ended up being wrong, we were billed for something that didn't arrive. As for the toilets, I have never seen any restaurant so disgusting with no toilet roll available, tissue all over the floor, empty alcohol bottles and used sanitary wear left on the floor or on top of the sanitary box!!!

I understand it was a match day but surely there should be enough staff working to keep things running smoothly and cleaning properly? Very disappointed and disgusted.

They try and act sneaky and put a service charge on your bill without you noticing. Food isn't great and portions are too small

Tomatoes in the salad were mouldy and off.

Also, we had the “optional gratuity” added automatically

This is not the first time we’ve had less than average service but thought it could be a one off.

My mum,my daughter and grandson ate at Giraffe Abingdon and had an awful experience They had an omelette for the little boy it was flat and the size of a tea plate,two brunches one requested no bacon to be told they could have an extra sausage( they didn't receive) fried eggs not cooked properly and served on cold plates,also had two latte, one pot weak tea and a juice for my grandson.All together my 80yr old mum paid over £32.50 including surcharge.....bloody disgraceful.I had on the same day (Saturday)a Toby Carvery two meals two drinks £17.98.I would never recommend Giraffe extortionate and poor standard :-(

Don't have the Grovy muesli smothies, as they don't use the ingredients as it is on the menu, instead of strawberries they use strawberry sauce what is not so good, and instead of natural yogurt they use full fat milk. So all in all not so good food like they promise

By far one of the worse places in Dubai. Worse customer service I have ever experienced.

Breakfast tea presented as mug of water in one hand, teabag in the other!

Waiter shrugged his shoulders saying that he didn’t drink tea so he didn’t know how to make it. Egg cold and had to be redone, so my husband had to eat his breakfast after I had finished mine ( to prevent mine from being cold). Music too loud for conversation to take place. Very disappointed

Avoid, it was better years ago. We had lunch today on a day out 3 moms 3 toddlers and 2 babies... Awful pricy food thought it suppose to be child friendly? Jam packed chaos. Table too high for high chair, kids chicken taste of burnt, dried and rock hard, my adult size main is a joke (few strand of cheap linguini disguised under leafs of rocket) , rushing service and smelly toliet
