Love this place - the food is excellent , service friendly and all staff very welcoming. You are always guaranteed a great atmosphere at this Old style Italian trattoria. Giuseppe welcomes all his guests personally and always has time for everyone, that's why people keep coming back time after time just like I have for the past 10 years or so.

Just like being in Italy. It's not where we set off to go to, but very glad we ended up there. The starter of Salamis with salad was delicious, the pasta with wild boar ragu was fantastic, all washed down with a very nice bottle of Red. Atmosphere was just like being in an Italian trattoria _ right down to the singer who did his best.

Just like a family trattoria in Italy, this place is a bustling, chattering restaurant with friendly Italian waiters - and the food is amazing. Guiseppe himself comes round chatting and making everyone welcome - definitely going back!

Great, great fun! We stumbled across this place and instantly knew we were in for a good night, we were a walk in so had to wait for our table, in the mean time we made friends at the bar with the owner and got given prosecco, olives, cheese and bread. The singing was fun and the food was fabulous! Great service and at a great price. Will definitely be going back! Thanks guys :)

Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Good location. Delicious food and friendly staff. Most of the time you need booking to get a table.

Found this place by accident, tucked away by London Bridge Station. Cellar restaurant that made me feel like I was suddenly in Rome. The food was delicious and the staff very relaxed. The service was slow, but on a cold winter's evening - we were no hurry to be rushed out. I think after dessert, we had been there nearly two hours.

Delicious food, huge portions, friendly stuff and good ratio between quality and price!

From Italy!

User

Brilliant place, good authentic Italian food and staff! Squeezed my wife and myself in last minute when they were fully booked, definitely in the list of places to eat when we come up to the smoke again!

User

A very authentic place. Although, we didn't make a booking we were welcomed by the lovely staff. Food was excellent & live Music on a Monday. Will definitely go again.

Had a fabulous night. Had to wait for table but understood why people were reluctant to leave as the atmosphere was great. Food was delicious but couldn’t finish as so much. Lemochello flowed at end. A lovely evening with my daughter and friends. Will definitely go back

User

Food was extremely wonderful and delicious. Service was wonderful and the atmosphere and environment were nice and well enough. I have had a great pleasure with my friend, having an evening there.

Been here twice now. Hidden gem in London. Old school traditional Italian tucked away. Great portion sizes, delicious food with fantastic flavours. Will definitely be returning

I was using a Taste Card, mentioned this fact whilst booking on the phone and again upon arrival.

Food was excellent, staff were fine until it came time for the bill, when I was told that I should have told them about the Taste Card.

Waiter got very shirty and rude and was moaning non-stop about the discount that was due.

Stood my ground and got the 50% off as advertised but will not be eating there again.

Shame as the cuisine is top draw

Fawlty Towers eat your heart out!

Me and my partner arrived early for a booking. We were given such attitude for doing do. "Well you ARE early...you'll just have to wait at the bar." We were shoved into a corner to wait, behind a table of people eating, which was not comfortable for us and them. Eventually our table became free, but the waiters waited a good five minutes or more to even start clearing it off so we could actually sit down as they were too busy pandering to another large table that had just arrived. When they finally cleared it they left us sitting there with no menus for ages. When we eventually got menus the same 'attitude' man came back after about two minutes asking if we could hurry up and choose as he needed the menus to give to the big table that had arrived after us.

The food was OK, but didn't make up for our poor treatment. And the live performer was far too loud.

User

Been here a few times but this time not as good. Tables all pushed together so you can’t get up to go to the toilet. The singer was too loud and only knew a few Frank Sinatra songs so it was very repetitive. The food was not as good, I had the tuna steak which was over cooked. Really disappointed as this restaurant used to be really good. Will not be going back sadly.

Have been before and recommended by and too friends, however deeply disappointed last night 😢 Took our 11 year old daughter and quite frankly the service was shocking!!!we were very accommodating when told on our arrival for our reservation the table would be another 30 mins, we were clearly too accommodating as then only 1 minute after being seated (30 mins after reservation!) felt we were hounded for our order! The final straw after having a jug of water spilt over us by very grumpy waitress, no apology ! No attempt to recover I had to request cloths to soak up and was then left with damp clothes and feet in a puddle of water!!!!!!! However , yes the food was good and we paid our bill in full !!!!! Omitting the service charge!!! Dissatisfied DVD disappointed hope it was a one off shame when treating our daughter on a trip to London 😢😢😢
