Glascote Fendermakers is a one-man cottage business situated just 2 streets up from the Coventry Canal at Glascote, bespoke ropework & fenders are a speciality plus I can supply and fit your fenders if locally moored. Phil English is a traditional fendermaker having Lived, worked and travelled the UK canal system in a 110 year old ex Fellows Morton & Clayton working boat. I now have premises in Glascote Tamworth making traditional and bespoke rope canal boat fenders using only the highest qualiy materials. As a time served fender maker lucky enough to have been guided and encouraged by the very best in the business I pushed myself hard to perfect my skills /style and have many people complimenting my work. I also promote the craft of fendermaking by teaching the craft and doing demonstrations at various events, past ones include the Braunston Historic boat rally, The International Guild of Knot Tyers annual meeting and for the Crick Historical Society.
