About Glass Door Homeless Charity
Glass Door provides shelter and support in partnership with churches across West and South West London. We coordinate the largest open-access emergency winter shelter in the country, because no one should have to sleep on the streets of London.
Glass Door Homeless Charity Description
As London’s largest emergency winter night shelter, Glass Door provides a safe, warm place to sleep for just under 100 men and women every night in winter -- from November to early April. We are able to do this thanks to partnerships with churches across the boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Wandsworth. Guests experiencing homelessness can also access advice, food, showers and laundry facilities from drop-in day centres. Glass Door not only saves lives by providing refuge from the cold, we also help our guests build more stable futures.
