Its a beautiful part of Lancashire very peaceful. Friendly people, great cafe' and a homely pub. I was there on 5th March with the Halton Ramblers and we were made very welcome.

I am a regular visitor to Glasson Dock mainly by motorbike occasionally by car. I have been going for years calling for a brew and paying a visit to the fish and cheese shop. It is a beautiful place and now undergoing slight alterations where the old barge sunk next to the lock keepers rest, the trees have been cut down as the roots were too close to the bank of the marina. Love this place.

User

Great spot for a coffee and a cake after a ride out on the motorbike. Just as good to take the family in the car for a walk round the dock and a spot of lunch.

User

Great food at the cafe and a wonderful location. The smoke house is a bonus.

User

Glasson dock is a beautiful peaceful place on the Morecambe bay cycle route. There is a fantastic cafe and store called Glasson Dock Village store. It is worth a visit as they do the best bacon butties ever.

Glasson as a village is fabulous. Great facilities, friendly people, always clean/tidy. We visit at least every 4 weeks. The locally made ice cream with organic milk is the best in the area.
