Established in 1999 as Femas Protection Services, the company rebranded to GLICO UK Limited. GLICO UK is a privately owned security company, with its head office strategically located in London. However, its remit covers the whole of the UK. GLICO Security's valued reputation for integrity, customer care and satisfaction is built solidly on experience. The ongoing training of staff is a major investment and ensures the company remains one of the leading companies in the security industry.
Staffs are trained to the Security Industry Authority Requirements and all hold valid SIA license badges. . All staff are screened in accordance with BS7858 (security screening of individuals employed in a security environment). GLICO Security continually monitors all its staff to maintain their high quality and ensure performance meets their client’s expectations.
GLICO Security is a member of the British Standards Institution and Professional Bodyguard Association, showing its commitment to professional application, high quality service and compliance with the latest regulatory requirements. Guaranteeing an unparalleled professional service, GLICO Security is certified and committed to ISO 9001: 2015. Staff are trained to meet the requirements of BS7499 (static and mobile security services), BS7984 (key-holding and response services), and BS8507 (close protection services). Working with these requirements enables us to continually leave clients satisfied and provide a quality assured service.
