Global Bike

Horrendous service!!!!!!!!!!!!
DO NOT BUY FROM GLOBAL BIKES
I ordered a bike from Global bikes expecting delivery within 10 days. After 2 weeks I contacted the manager (Rich) who at first seemed quite helpful, until i realised that everything he said to me was a lie. Including the following excuses:

After waiting 2 weeks: "the courier was stuck in traffic so couldn't pick the bike up."
After waiting 3 weeks: "he had a blow out on his van so couldn't deliver the bike."
After waiting 4 weeks: "the bike wasn't quite finished yet" (making the first 2 excuses pure lies!)
After waiting 5 weeks: "the bike manufacturer had sent the wrong parts."
After waiting 6 weeks: "the forks were out of stock."
After waiting 7 weeks. "the wheels were out of stock."
The lies continued until I gave up hope and asked for a refund. It truly has been the WORST business I've ever dealt with.
Avoid at all cost!!!!!!!!

Friendly team. Bought a custom spec bike over a year ago after being lent the demo model. The guys got the bike built quickly and have serviced it since without delay. Would and have recommended!

I have used this shop on 4 occasions and after today I will make the effort to use more often the customer counts this in my eyes is a winner well done the Global bike team.

Terrible service, item marked as "in stock" is not shipped within two and a half weeks, asking for informations is answered with "we are short in staff" or "it will leave in the next moment, hasn't picked up" and so on. When you want to be a international seller, I think this behavior is not up on time. I can't say anything about the local store, but the online shopping expirience was very disappointed.

Terible, frustrating customer service. I bought a frame which arrived quickly, but was supplied with the incorrect dropouts. I've been chasing them up to supply the correct part for over 2 months now.

I've been assured that the correct part is either in stock or on its way to me at last three times, but nothing subsequently arrived. The customer services operative I've dealt with has returned a call once in all that time.

Each time I call I either get no response, I'm told the parts are on their way when they're not, or I get a shaggy dog story about the manufacturer or the distributor being awkward. Wouldn't use again.

Bought my second bike from here, lapierre zesty mountain bike there service is second to none and go above and beyond what anyone could ever expect of a shop. Also the service team really know how to set up a bike never had bikes set up as well as bikes in have had from global bike

superb company to deal with. Rich and Jim went above a beyond to ensure I was happy.
A part on my lapierre mtb broke, a quick call in to explain my issues and my warranty claim was underway, 6 days later my new part arrived and was fitted.
Customer service at its best.

Great bunch of guys, good to pop in and talk bikes (road and mountain bike) big range of parts / bikes / etc. in stock to have a look at.

Never dealt with such a lovely bunch of people. I just got a new bike from Global bikes through my C2W scheme and if it hadn't have been for these guys I'd still be looking! It's just a little family run business but it's run way better than some of the larger stores I've visited and other smaller shops. The bike is fantastic, great value too. I applied for my voucher last Thursday, got it Friday, went to test the bike Saturday and had my new bike delivered to me Monday evening. Massive thanks to Rich, Jim and everybody else there... Happy pedalling!
