The Global Diplomatic Forum was established in 2010 as a non profit, non political institution that is set on the fundamentals of deliverance of Global Economic Governance through Diplomacy. Our role in Global PEACE & SECURITYInternational environment characterized by conflict and violence will end up undermining, or even reversing, globalization. We advocate partnership for sustainable global peace and security. Our role in International Cooperation for DevelopmentMDGs would require an extra $50 billion per year of official development assistance /aid. GDF advocates fair aid architectureOur Role in Global Trading SystemTrade liberalization in goods and services will foster significant economic benefits for both developed and developing countries; indeed a fundamental basis of WTO Doha Development Round. GDF advocates strengthening and or improve the rules-based multilateral trading system. Our Conviction in Protecting EnvironmentGlobal warming, Climate change, transnational pollution spill-overs and overfishing are biggest examples of problems that cannot be solved by one institution; one country or even one region. . . to address environmental challenges. Healthy World The risk of a rapid spread of communicable and preventable diseases is another downside of globalization which also requires collective international responce in order to be addressed properly. Engaging National or Regional ExperiencesThere is great variance among national and regional experiences with regard to their successful participation in globalization.
