Traineeship Pathway 3: . T.V Make up and SFX . We are excited to offer this 6 month Trainee programme for Boys and Girls 16-18 years old wanting a career in T.V , this is a beginner Make up qualification and on completion you could progress onto Level 3 and then university . This VTCT Level 2 diploma course covers all the basics of make up but specialises in character development for T.V and theatre and the basic skills of bruising, small wounds, sculpting and casting small p...rosthetics and applying them . You will be in college 4 days a week, consisting of make up lessons, industry placements, working in the photography studio and portfolio building and research as well as improving maths and english skills. You will work on short films together as a group to learn set ettiquet and what’s expected of you as an assistant make up artist on T.V and film settings. .
