GSEC 2018: DISRUPTIVE TECHNOLOGIES

Global Student Engineering Conference Description

The Global Student Engineering Conference (GSEC) 2017 is a student-run conference by the University College London Mechanical Engineering Society (UCL MES). The goals of GSEC are to:

• Empower student engineers to step up as agents of change to build a collective future
• Foster meaningful relationships between youth leaders from around the world
• Connect talented delegates with some of today’s leaders in academia, industry and government

The conference draws upon the diverse perspectives of delegates from around the world to demonstrate the crucial role that STEM plays in advancing economic and social progress without compromising pertinent environmental aspects. These engineering-led discussions also aim to increase exposure and rouse interest in the application of engineering knowledge and skills in tackling a few of the world's most eminent problems today.
