2018 #TransAmericas had a fantastic ride up to Prudhoe Bay. Sun all the way up and then some rain on the ride south, just to make the riding a bit trickier and cover the bikes in the Dalton "mud" - like liquid concrete which sticks to the bikes like superglue. We all made the journey relatively unscathed, apart from the mossie bites - they were out in force!! All live rounds - we do this activity at the start of the #TransAmericas when we are all still friends!! The trip is about experiencing different cultures and guns are part of Alaskan culture carried by many of the residents here.

It is 16 years this week that Julia and I returned back to the UK after setting the official #GuinnessWorldRecord for the Fastest Circumnavigation of the World by motorcycle, the first of three Guinness Records that we hold. Total miles ridden was 19,468 in a time of 19 days, 8 hours and 25 minutes, averaging over 1,000 miles each day, two up. A good test for any marriage! After several years of global travel previous to this, it was really the start for what has become #...GlobeBusters Motorcycle Expeditions & Tours. We re-mortgaged our house to attempt and complete the record breaking ride and also raised thousands of pounds for #SOSChildrensVillages, a charity that cares for abandoned and orphaned children around the world. The 2018 Trans Americas Expedition is getting very real now. Riders have started to drop their bikes off Moto Freight and we are busy here at HQ putting all the final logistics and planning in place. Our arrival in Alaska is all planned for next month and a very exciting time ahead. The first freight for Trans Americas 2018 Expedition was loaded yesterday down with our good friends Moto Freight The first support vehicle and two GlobeBusters bikes being sea freighted out to the US. The new shape Transit is slightly large than the old and so an escape hatch had to cut in the bulkhead to us to get out when loaded. Either that or I needed to go on a serious diet. With this being the largest Trans Am EVER, there will be 71 freight movements throughout the 5 month and 23,000 mile ride through 14 countries. The 2018 Trans Americas Expedition is set to be the biggest ever. With riders from UK, Ireland, USA, New Zealand, Romania, Switzerland and Qatar all getting ready to be part of the longest supported expedition on the planet. Back from a great few days in Wales at the Touratech Travel Event. Thanks to all the people that came to say hi and talk bikes and travel, we look forward to riding with you all. Morocco 'done & dusted'! All very well organised and implemented; good support and we were 'well looked after' by Craig and team throughout. Recommended.

Just completed a 14 day tour of Thailand and Laos with Kevin and Julia and we had a great time on and off the bike.

Kevin and Julia where great company during our evening meals and have become our friends.

This is our second tour (Iceland being the first one) and we loved both.
