What can I say, Hayley was an absolute pleasure from the moment I walked in to Glory Days Vintage & Couture Bridal wear. What made my experience even more special was that my sister found her beautiful wedding gown at Glory Days with Hayley and we had such a magical and wonderful time helping my sister find the perfect dress for her, that I knew the day I got married I wanted to come here with Hayley and find the perfect dress for me.
When we set the date I booked my first wedding dress shopping trip straight to Glory Days in York. Hayley had moved her boutique by this time so we got to visit the new fabulous boutique which is an absolute dream. My mum, sister, mother in law and nana had an incredible first dress fitting with Hayley’s assistant who was very helpful and a great asset to Hayley.
The dream then became true when I saw the Rolling In Roses collection which is part of Hayley’s own design collection! I had found the most beautiful gown which was like nothing I had ever seen before. I instantly knew The Katie-Lou Dress was the one! I tried a few different dresses on which were all beautiful but the Katie-Lou was my favourite by far.
Hayley was a star through all of the fittings and even went that extra mile to make a handkerchief for my mum and a tie for my dad which both had special words sewn on. They were so overwhelmed and it just goes to show how helpful Hayley really is.

Glory days was a pleasure and an amazing experience. I recommend them to all those brides who are after that unique wedding dress for their special day and be sure to check out The Rolling In Roses collection! Every bride I have seen posted on social media looks stunning!

You really must visit glory days if you are looking for a vintage or bespoke dress.
Hayley has the most beautiful dresses and some stunning accessories too.
I visited with my friend who is getting married soon and Hayley made the whole experiance really special which was amazing thank you.
There were quite a few of us in the group and she made us all feel so welcome.
She really does listen to what you want and you feel like she just gets it ! To top it all off she is such a lovely person not like some other bridal shops we have experienced and we even commented we should have asked her along to the pub afterwards.
I am so excited to see what she Designs I know it is going to be a one off and amazing x

I hate clothes shopping at the best of times, and wedding dress shopping filled me with dread and fear. I knew what I didn't want when I started dress shopping - the same old generic bling of the high street was not what I was after. I wanted something unique, classy and me. Something practical but elegant. I stumbled across the Glory Days shop having seen the Violet dress from the Rolling-in-Roses collection on a blog and booked an appointment immediately. Once there I fell in lust with the vintage collection but in love with the Witch Hazel dress from the Rolling in Roses collection. It was a difficult decision deciding what dress to go with, but so pleased I followed my heart.

Hayley, the owner, and designer of the Rolling in Roses dresses is quite honestly a star. She can make bespoke dresses, alter her own or her vintage collection to make something personal and unique to you.

The whole experience was lovely, from the moment we first went to see Hayley to the moment I walked out of the shop with my dress in my arms. The shop is stunning, quirky and bespoke, and the dress experience was perfect - the memories of which I will treasure for a long, long time to come.

If you're looking for a wedding dress that is a little bit different, but absolutely beautiful, this place is definitely worth a visit!

I travelled over from Liverpool to York to visit Glory Days and it was worth the trips a thousand times. I cannot recommend Glory Days enough to anyone looking for a more laidback approach to wedding dress shopping and beautiful, handcrafted and unique dresses.

Hayley is absolutely fantastic, totally cool and calm and 100% the sort of person you want helping you find your dream dress! The shop itself is beautiful and you feel very special just to be there. There is a huge selection of vintage dresses and all of the in house Rolling in Roses dresses to be tried on, all of which Hayley is able to customise for you.

I chose the Faith dress which has an incredible beaded cape unlike anything I'd seen before, but I wasn't keen on the plunging neckline, so Hayley suggested an alternative and we added a keyhole - it was one of a kind and I loved wearing it so much. I got so many wonderful compliments on the day and several people have asked where it was from since seeing the photos. All the dresses designed in house are amazing, sexy and comfy and fit beautifully - I was scared of bias cut but there really is no need to be as it's a dream to wear and can be so flattering when done well.

If you're looking for something a little more unusual or are feeling apprehensive about looking for a dress I would definitely recommend a visit to Glory Days - you might just find exactly what you don't know that you're looking for.

When I started looking for a wedding dress, I fell in love with the vintage inspired, long lace sleeved ones. But it wasn't that easy to find something on the marked that matched that. That was until I found Glory Days just by chance online. As much as I loved the photos I saw on their Instagram and website, there was nothing like the experience of entering Hayley's shop. From the first moment she made us feel so welcomed with a great cup of tea, soft music and comfy couches. I can go on about the selection of vintage dresses for ages. But what really grabbed my attention was the inhouse vintage inspired collections which are Hayley's creations. They are all to die for! And you can try as many as you like, never rushed or pressured. Hayley has an enormous creative talent, but she is also great with keeping intouch and making sure you are reminded of fitting days or any other details. It is just a great service from start to finish!
I absolutely adore my Pearl wedding dress and I still can't have enough of all the photos we took on the day. Thank you, Hayley, for everything!!!

I first found Hayley and the Glory Days store online when I wanted a wedding dress with a difference. When I first began looking for wedding dresses I found everything was the same.. Until I came here! Hayley was welcoming from the very beginning to myself, my mum and grandma who came with me. I was able to try on as many dresses as I wanted and nothing was too much trouble. I was blown away with the amount of original vintage dresses that were in the store but then fell in love with a new 'vintage inspired' dress.
On the big day people didn't stop complimenting my dress and how unique it was and I felt amazing in it! I would recommend Glory Days Bridal to anyone looking for a beautiful dress.
