We recently purchased a new Coachman VIP caravan from Glossop caravans whilst visiting the NEC show in October. Delivery of our new van was a couple of weeks ago. This was our first visit to the dealership. It was a very good experience. The staff each had they're job to do and everything was slick and professional.

The caravan was hooked up to services so that we could see it all worked properly and all our refinements were fitted as promised. I have had cause to contact Glossop twice since taking the caravan and they were extremely helpful.

We recently picked up a new Coachman 545 from Glossop, we have had a few new vans from other dealers but i have to say Glossop certainly went the extra mile for us. There were some minor issues but they dealt with them all straight away without question. I see there are a few poor reviews on here but i can only speak for us. We received friendly professional service from purchase to handover. A big thank you to Glossop Caravans for a stressless transaction.

We placed our order with Eddie in October last year and took delivery on the 26th of April. We first visited late one cold wet evening after 5.00. I contacted Glossop and said we were thinking of dropping by. When we arrived we were told that Eddie was preparing the caravans we were interested in. We could not fault the lengths he went to, nothing was too much trouble and it was well after closing time when we left, at that point Eddie did not get an order but we went away with very positive thoughts. We returned a week or so later and once again. Eddie looked after us, answering all of our questions and concerns. This time we left, having placed our order for delivery in April, we did not want it any earlier. Between the date we ordered and when we collected we had a few telephone conversations with various members of staff from the different departments, every time great service. We collected the caravan on the 26th of April. The handover was fantastic, again nothing too much trouble, and delighted that Eddie took the time to make sure we were happy with everything before we departed. We could not fault Glossop at all and would recommend to anyone thinking of buying a caravan or motor home

We have just collected our chatsworth 840. Had a number of issues but they were all dealt with and to our satisfaction. Cannot recommend this dealership enough. I’ve seen a number of negative reviews but I have now purchased 3 new caravans and dealing with Glossop was far better than the other dealerships I have dealt with. The staff at Glossop are great too and nothing is too much trouble.

Myself and my husband flew over from Ireland at the weekend for our first caravan and camping show



We were primarily looking for an awning

We had a Doréma in mind and had emailed them to inquire about their products



They had put Chris in contact with us who was at the Doréma stand



I just want to say from the phone call on Friday to the eventual sale on Saturday chris was a font of knowledge and was a brilliant sales rep , his customer service was second to none - I won't mention competitors to be fair , but they didn't have a patch on Chris



I was so impressed I had rang my brother who was intending to buy an air awning and told him of our experience with Chris and Doréma

He subsequently also bought an awning etc from Chris



I just wanted to pass on my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Chris for bearing with us . I couldn't recommend Glossops enough going by our experience

My wife and I just spent a tremendous two days at Glossop Caravans to collect our Swift Conqueror 580 to bring back to the Netherlands. Not everything went smoothly but the team made every effort to put every little thing right as soon as it appeared (Missing paperwork from Swift? They were immediately on the phone to arrange registered delivery the following morning. Loose-fitting door fitting? Immediately fixed). Every question we had was answered promptly and with a smile and we were made to feel so welcome. Having had a lot of very helpful email communication with Lee, now it was the dispatch team to offer wholehearted support. Claire was great (with a cheeky sense of humour) but Yvonne was a class apart - kept everything on track, was incredibly efficient and determined to make sure we left feeling happy. Anthony had earlier done a great job in explaining the caravan's many workings and also really helpful were Philip and Matthew, who spent a lot of time trying to fix the rear-camera connectivity only to eventually find it was our car that was at fault... Would we buy from Glossop Caravans again - most definitely (if the price was right, of course). Would we recommend them to others - absolutely! Thanks and gratitude to the whole team.

Just arrived home from our first weekend away in our Eldis Explore we purchased from Glossop caravans.

We are thrilled to bits with it as well as the excellant service from the helpful staff we dealt with.

We didnt have a handbook but Adele soon sorted us out with one.

Nothing was any trouble to the staff and as this was our first caravan the finishing little touches of a welcome goody bag was so nice.

Thankyou to you all ... it is a spotless van thankyou to the cleaning staff too.

We will probably be back one day if we go bigger and better 😁😁

I’ve seen some posts re Glossop

Caravans lack of after sales service. Well all I can say is that today they were superb. With thanks to Yvonne and Phil , they arranged for Phil to come to my home to run through the setup of my touring van that was bought in October and put straight into storage. Phil took the time to explain how everything worked, tested it all to make sure and then wrote it all down for me. ( something to do with the grey hair and retirement kicking in I think ��). They couldn’t have been more helpful. Many thanks to them both for all their help. Great customer service. ���

Had a fantastic stay overnight picking up our Burstner 747 , the staff were amazing, could not fault anyone, made us so welcomed , and John what an amazing guy made our change over such a enjoyable experience , Highly recommend you Thank you again

Dominic put our awning up - (pictured above) nothing is to much trouble for him - he knows his stuff he as advised us from day 1 - last year when we had our 1st Isabella awning sold to us by Dominic we were so impressed with his work we recommended him to our friends who also purchased the same awning which Dominic erected for them.



We were that impressed with Dominic that we decided in February this year we were going to purchase our New Caravan & awning from Glossop caravans. We choose the new 2018 Buccaneer Barracuda which was delivered 2 weeks ago and sited and once again Dominic-erected our New Isabella Penta 30 another brilliant job by Dominic.

I would also like to say a huge thank you to Rob, Clare , Phil for a smooth and effortless purchase & handover appertaining to our caravan. A big thank you also goes to Steve who delivered & sited our van great job. And last but not least thank you Dominic we can't thank you enough for everything you have done .

As our first purchase from Glossop caravans - we will definitely recommend them to anybody who is thinking of purchasing A caravan, awning, etc due to the excellent service we received from picking our caravan to delivery. ����

Called in today. Was left to have a look around without sales people bothering us, which we like so we can have a good look at the caravans without being pushed. I'd like to mention a guy called 'Tony Berry'. I think, anyway he showed us all around the awnings and is full of knowledge on them. We like the Air awnings and he was very imformative on those. He listened to what we were wanting and even gave us advice on how to correctly put the awining up that we already have. He finally gave us a lot of information to take away with us. We will call again when we finally decide on the caravan we like. Thankyou.

Bought a new van from Matt at the show he was fantastic kept me informed at every stage, had a few calls with updates from Claire dispatch expert told me she would call me at 17:00 hrs and gess what! Spot on 17:00 she called with update as advised.

On collection day I met Claire who was amazing nothing to much trouble she introduced me to Phil who was the hand over expert and what an expert he was, went over everything without rushing us I can honestly say it was one of the best purchase experiences we have ever had, the caravan was in spotless condition and whilst finishing off the paperwork Phil fitted all the extras to the van for me including a new number plate, we hooked up and drove home without any issue. All in all a great experience from a team of people that really want to deliver a memorable experience for there customers, I would have no hesitations in recommending Glossop Caravans to my friends and family.

Another great experience form Glossop caravans reserved the van to view and was ready when I arrived we liked it so we purchased it. Many thanks to Rob (salesman) and lee (finance) it was a long day (not glossop caravans at fualt it was finance company)but we got there in the end. Amazing place! My parents bought their caravans from here and now years later me and my husband have just bought our first ever caravan! Honestly amazing service from start to finish. The staff were lovely and caring, genuinely interested in our family and put our needs and requirements first. No hard sell at all. The actual park is amazing with a burger van and play Area for the kids, which allows you to stay and properly look. The actual process of buying was so easy and we were so happy with the service we got. They obviously know caravans and care about their customers! We wouldn't buy from anywhere else

We purchased a motorhome in March this year and were very pleased with the help we received in choosing the Eldis Chatsworth. Our old camper was taken in part exchange with no quibbles. This is the second motorhome we have bought from Glossop Caravans & we have been pleased with the service we have received from all the staff. Everyone we have encountered has been most polite & very helpful. All our questions were answered by the knowledgeable staff. They put a handrail free of charge to help my husband to enter via the back door & also put up an extra privacy curtain rail at our request. They even collected us from the local train station, all on the day of collection. We certainly would not hesitate to recommend them.

I was very angry with Glossop Caravans following a warranty claim, which I made direct.



The warranty company are not geared up to deal with claims from individuals as generally customers go through Glossop Service Centre. I didn’t as my local engineer was closer and more convenient.

After 3-4 weeks of getting nowhere, Mike Pinder from Glossop Caravans stepped in on my behalf and got it sorted within a day.



Thanks to Mike and Glossop Caravans.... my blood pressure is back to normal. When their support kicked in things moved on rapidly.



I am assured that the warranty provider will be spoken to and this should not happen again.

Called here to pick up an awning for our camper van, spent a little more than I'd budgeted for but all good.....that's until I found out that the company it was coming from was even cheaper. Spoke to Glossop about this and they went above and beyond to sort the issue and I got a full refund of the difference. Thank you

Very disappointed, been twice and both times been let down, an hours journey for nothing. First time went to view a caravan, fair enough, it sold 20 mins before we arrived. Second time, we reserved a caravan online, called them the day before informing them we were coming, arrived and it had been sold! They said it was sold 20 mins (they like that number) before we reserved it online, yet failed to let us know when we phoned out of courtesy, why did they not tell us then? Would have still been annoyed, however it would have saved us the time and fuel ... no apology at all! Greedy timewasters, will never go back!

Take my advice buy elsewhere even if it cost you more money as I'm one very unhappy disgruntled customer and still haven't hand anything sorted yet....not one single thing. Picked up our brand new Elddis 840 on the 21st of October 2017. Still waiting for a replacement table as ours had a hole in it, bed cap missing and awaiting replacement, chrome strip in cupboard is bubbling and needs replacing, awning carpet supplied is all ripped and freyed, Kitchen top peeling away, wrap around seating still not arrived and not heard back from Lee (sales manager),

promised a quilt on handover from Yvonne, wall paper joining strips all peeled, puncture repair kit missing from awning, trouble with telescopic table and cupboard pegs missing. The faults I could cope with initially but not the long delays and getting passed from pillar to post. After many phone calls and umpteen emails we get told every thing is in stock but when I double checked only 3 or 4 items were in and the other items they wanted me to chase up individually. Promised to collect the awning flooring twice and never turned up after waiting in all day on both days. Not had one call from them ever to see if all is ok. Eddie the sales man as nice as he was has never called to see how we are getting on. The only reason I have given one star us because there isn't an ootion to leave no stars. This could have all been sorted if they had pulled their socks up. Only one who appears to try to help is Katie. Take my advice buy elsewhere even if it cost you more money as I'm one very unhappy disgruntled customer and still haven't hand anything sorted yet....not one single thing.
