About Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre

Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre came under new ownership in summer 2012. The slope is the longest in England and Wales. Call to book now.

Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre Description

Gloucester Ski & Snowboard centre has always been a focal point for a lot of the younger community in the surrounding area and we believe it is about time it was given some love and attention.

The newly revamped venue will feature a refurbished T-Bar café / restaurant with lots tasty food, and both hot and cold drinks suitable for whatever English weather is thrown at us!

The brand new on-site shop - My Race, will be opening and expanding into a vast online space (http://www. my-race.com). My Race primarily specialises in alpine race equipment, clothing and accessories as well as offering ski servicing /repairs. Keep posted for offers.

As well as regular events, and guest appearances from famous faces, we have invested in a GIANT Air Bag which is always open for public use - come down and check it out! We guarantee you will enjoy it!

Please like our page to keep up to date with everything happening with regards to My Race and Gloucester Ski & Snowboard Centre.

Went there for a day taster session . Instructor was very good and knowledgeable, got me near recreational level after many failed attempts at Tamworth. Facilities were good. Slope is interesting as its netted. Gloves, thick socks, long sleeve and long trousers is a must.. Even on hot days like today.... Inc food was good. Lessons where good even after splitting up group as some of us got further than others in The session. Thanks again to the instructor Allan and

Thanks a guys and gals working at center

Went Tubing with my two boys, 6 and 9, and they loved it. Was well managed, friendly and great fun. We were the only 3 on the tubing slope at that time and they sorted out our sessions with no issues. I was knackered after the 30mins, that's plenty and the boys were super sweaty as well.

We recorded a video for our YouTube channel if anyone wants a closer look at how it is all set up and the fun the boys had, search BoogalooTV on YouTube (uploaded 14/09/2017). Will go again for sure!

User

We (two 40-something's) had a pre-ski holiday lesson with Quinton earlier this week and it was great fun. He gave us some great tips, helped to better our parallel turns and above all, gave us both a real confidence boost. We take the kids to the Ski Centre pretty regularly and we all love it. Decent coffee and hot chocolate in the café too. Would also recommend the coaching mornings (wednesday's ladies sesson in particular).

User

Totally brilliant place, great facilities friendly helpful staff, nice warm cafe with a really good selection of food and drinks ski slopes in very good condition, lifts easy to use, good all round value for money first time here after trying other centres this one is the best by far we will definitely be back

User

Took my youth club up there on the weekend after supporting Snow Camp UK for the last 6 months. Booked everything via James. Must say it was busy alot going on through out the day. I brought 12 young people with no experience of the slopes to support some of our members who had been ski training for the last few months.

Tubing was fun - instructor was engaging and helpful. - boys got into it.

Skiing instructor was chilled and therefore didn't mind moody teens dropping out and focused on the group that wanted to engage.

Hotdogs were decebnt outside in the battle hill set up.

Battle hill was fun. Really fun and I was standing there watching them. Be warned you will get muddy so muddy that you will need new clothes. But the instructor knew the score and sorted the group out.

Over all would of benefitted from a little more structure from their end. - but think we will be back same time next year.

Thanks guys for all the support and entertaining, engaging and teaching our group.

Willows Youth Club Staff and young people.

User

Still the best artificial slope in England and prices are so reasonable in comparison to the indoor fridges and a decent length. If you can ski and want an introduction to racing ask the reception for an intro to Western Counties Ski Club based at the Slope no race experience necessary.

User

Relaxed atmosphere, great price for 4 hours of fun.

User

My son had a great time tubing with his friends to celebrate his 8th birthday. Vickie helped advise and organise all the details including meal choices for guests with food allergies. Thank you Vickie we'll be back!

User

My mum and I went on the learn to ski day with Lesley yesterday. As complete beginners we had no idea what to expect but Lesley made everything so clear and really catered for the group. Can't believe we learnt so much in just one day. Cannot recommend Lesley more, she was fantastic! Great set up. Really good fun :)

User

My daughter 12 years old did ski school in Feb 2018 and even though she had a little trouble on the second day John one of 3 instructors gave her a little time on a one to one basis and then gave 3 girls aged between 10 and 12 wonderful instruction for them to be able to ski the whole length of the slope. Amazing instructors and so worth doing before skiing holidays.

User

My 4 & 8 year old both had lessons today, it was quiet so my daughter ended up having a private lesson and my son only had 1 other child in his group. The instructors (Mark & Richard) were brilliant and my children came away filled with confidence and desperate to do more. Thank you. They both had a fab morning!

User

Just want to thank you for hosting my Step - daughters tubing party for her 6th birthday this saturday. Everyone (children and adults) had a great time. All the staff (from the tubing instructor to the staff working in the bar) were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend!

User

Just completed the ski pack lessons before our first skiing holiday next week. My husband and I have never skied before - We had four different instructors and they were brilliant. They all said different things each week, not contradicting each other but bringing their own ideas to the lessons to help everyone individually as much as they could. Thank you!

User

Had a fab time tubing with my family for my sons 6th Birthday. Was really impressed with our hot buffet afterwards. Would definitely recommend it Thanks guys!

User

Fantasctically refurbished. The T bar actually feels like a bar in the alps with a fire place and selection of food and drinks. There is a great shop with a large selection of equipment and of course the ski race club who trains there on a Thursday and Sunday

User

Excellent time had by my two kids . Food and staff excellent and very child friendly . I also have to say the prices are amazing compared to where we lived in Aberdeen . Will be back regular for the children's lessons .

User

Did the snowboard taster with Sam. Was really good. Definatly going back!

User

Went yesterday for a family day whilst visiting Gloucester had fun but the walk up and down is very difficult especially when you have to pull your rubber rings up with you can't comment on the skiing part as we did not do that but everyone on it seemed to be enjoying themselves..the staff were great very friendly and helpful

User

Ski instruction is very good, however facilities such as restaurant, toilets very run down broken taps, doors etc and we found a condom wrapper under our table in restaurant not to best when here with young family also too cramped as parties are hosted in bar
