GLOUCESTERSHIRE YOUTH WIND ORCHESTA NCBF National Finals - enjoy the videos everyone
In April this year GM took a record three ensembles to the National Finals of the National Concert Band Festival. We were lucky to listen to the Brookfield Jazz Band and Principle Wind Band live on a Facebook link that I took from the audience.
... As I was on stage controlling 50+ teenagers that make up GYWO I was not able to video the band. Fortunately a parent was there to record the band in action. Here are two of GYWO’s gold award performances for you to enjoy.

BACK FROM THE BALTIC
GSWO have just landed back in the UK after four AWESOME days in Palanga, Lithuania. We were hosted so well and enjoyed some great gigs, food, beer and company.
Our thanks to the great Amber Winds team of Viktoija and Vyngatas and to our tour managers Laurynas and Ruta. No doubt we will be back to Palanga - thank you.

Lithuania here we come!
Yes folks, the Gloucestershire Symphonic Wind Orchestra are off in less than 24 hours to the 2019 Palanga Amber Winds Festival in Lithuania.
21 members of GSWO will join forces with local bands, perform as part of the festival and have the opportunity to listen to the awesome Cory Brass Band in a new 2000 seater concert venue.
