So we found this in Asda for £1.69 - vegan friendly so no milk and tastes normal. A bit of a treat for Christmas! Anyone found anything new out there to recommend this Christmas? X

On Saturday I attended the Free From Winter Show, in Liverpool. Seeing how many stalls there are now promoting awareness is fabulous. But, there is a lack of awareness about milk allergy in foods, it is so hard to find gluten and milk free foods together 😕.
We got some scones which promised to be free from both, but weren’t free from milk. Does anyone else find this?
Even with that, This is a great event, they are also in London (July) and Glasgow (March). Search free from and you can register for the event and get free tickets. A great day with lots of talks too. X

How come Manchester Airport offers NO gluten free options looked at the menu today and NOTHING. Come on Manchester 🤬

You know that feeling when you find something that has NO WHEAT in - even though every other brand has. Fish sticks or “prawn tails” are something that were missed so much but thanks to Morrison’s you can enjoy these (freezer section not the fish monger bit).

Love google translate ... so had a bit of time and was trying to figure out what was written on the Salti bag. So glad I did!
Who knew a Salti went so well with Hazlenut or free from chocolate spread. Just what I wanted for that small treat 😋😁

That feeling when you ask in a cafè “Do you do Gluten free” expecting a “No” but instead get presented with a menu not just a Jacket potato or chocolate brownie.
Nothing like a girls lunch where we all can eat 😍

Fabulous time at the Free from & Allergy show in Liverpool this weekend. Tried some great product the best had to be Voakes pie...my pastry attempts never turn out like theirs. 🍮 plus a new beer from Daura Damm bit strong for our tastes but soooo much more available now 🍻 Next one Glasgow in the spring 🖒

Just tried this ice-cream from Tesco seems to be free from everything...a must try for an ice cream fix...next I'm making free from ice cream waffle cones to go with it. I'll post them next

Chocolate Fudge cake with ice- cream. All 100% Gluten, Dairy and Egg free (including the ice cream). The cake is soft and light not heavy and like a roof tile 😆

Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Egg Free Lime and Dark Chocolate Cheesecake ❤

Recipe for GF, DF chicken takeaway. Sauce:
Serves 2/3
... 1 tbsp Tamari sauce 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 red chilli 1 onion 3 garlic cloves 1 inch ginger 2 cups hot water 2 tbsp cider vinegar or white wine vinegar. 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar .5 tsp of turmeric and smoked paprika
Finely chop onion, garlic, ginger and chilli and saute in a pan.
Add paprika and tumeric.
Add water. Then all the wet ingredients and bring to the boil. Simmer until sauce is thick or add more DEPENDANT ON PERSONAL PREFERENCE.

CHICKEN INSTRUCTIONS :
Use 500 grams of chicken thighs (boned and skinned) or chicken breast.
Fine cornflour.
... Coat diced chicken in cornflour either dry fry in a pan until flour is slightly golden and oven bake or if you prefer fry until cooked.
Serve with sauce and Brown or White Rice and most importantly enjoy 😊👍🎷🍛
